“I have been going to Plainfield Animal Hospital for years. I had a cat that needed to be put down. A very hard decision for me to make. When I called my vet on a Wednesday the woman told me she couldn't give an appointment til Friday. This was so unacceptable. They wanted my cat to suffer for two days. I called Piscataway Animal Clinic and they took me that very day. Not even knowing my cat they treated him with so much kindness and compassion. In his time of need they were there for him. Isn't that what Vets are suppose to do. Thank you.”

“We have been taking our two cat siblings to Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic for over 14 years. The vets currently there are really caring and first rate. We usually see Dr Cuevas who is amazing but the other vets and techs are great as well. They really listen to your concerns and don’t rush you out. Not the least expensive but I don’t mind paying for great care for my kitties. And having an appointment on (or around) Valentines Day was a merry plus! Got a treat bag and had an option to take festive pictures. And the vet techs and front desk staff are also friendly and caring. Bound Brook Veterinary Clinic truly cares about your pets.”

“Dr. Shendell and her team always go above and beyond for our fur babies. We have been through atleast four vets before we came across Dr. Shendell & Dr. Weltner. Both are great, kind and caring veterinarians! My wife and I are both nurses and let me tell you, these guys are the best that we've been to in Jersey so far (location wise). Dr. Shendell and Dr. Mooney did surgery twice on my 21 year old alien baby (Biff). They gave us an extension with him for which I am forever grateful. DO NOT second guess yourself or the people here! Whenever we need paperwork for proof of vaccination, etc., it’s so easy to contact the office. My family knows this practice as “no nonsense”- so far recommending only those procedures that are necessary and reasonable for our unique circumstances. “I could not be happier with Dr. Hollo and the care our animals receive at Basking Ridge Animal Hospital. We have two very large mixed-breed dogs that we bring to BRAH for all our veterinarian needs. Dr. Hollo, has been amazing with our big boys. Our eldest dog thinks that Dr. Hollo is the bee’s knees and I'm pretty sure Dr. Hollo feels the same about him! “We found Dr. Newman and Harlingen after suffering through three different bad experiences, judgmental attitudes and expensive misdiagnoses in the Bridgewater area. Our Miniature Schnauzer was finally diagnosed with a congenital shunt defect which required special care/diet/medicine following a consultation at the Cornell Veterinarian Medical School. Dr. Newman took care of our schnauzer and gave annual feedback to the specialist for the duration of her 13 years. Dr. Newman was there when we had to say goodbye. It has taken us several years to feel that we could bring another dog into our family but recently became the owners of a new miniature schnauzer puppy. We could not wait to introduce her to Dr. Newman and the staff at Harlingen. They have been nothing but kind and professional over the years, always helpful; provide basic as well as advanced information and resources if needed; they always provide honest feedback when questions are asked. We never felt rushed; we never felt imposed upon financially. They are even willing to give you financial estimates if needed ahead of time. We recommend Harlingen whenever asked for a vet reference. For those people giving feedback about the wait, it is very difficult to provide quality medical care on a clock. You cannot have compassionate care and be on time always. I know this because I also work in human healthcare and being on time is always a challenge. Each visit presents unique concerns and care. I will always choose compassionate quality care over on-time performance and I am willing to wait for it. My recommendation is to always allow enough time to wait if that is your primary concern.”
“We love Berkeley Heights Animal Hospital. My 7 year old beagle is usually is very fearful of vets and groomers (doesn’t even want to go in the door!) but she runs right in and is super happy to see her vet Dr. Seltzer, tail wagging! Dr. Seltzer is patient and knowledgeable and just provides the best care and advice. The entire staff is so friendly! We won’t go anywhere else! Thank you BHAH!”
“What an incredible bunch of people. We brought our kitten in to be neutered and the staff were so helpful. We never felt like we were being rushed. Everything was explained to us, from the moment we got there to the time we would be back to pick him up.
The first animal hospital I've been to that didn't smell like a giant litter box full of wet dogs.

It would have been costly and very stressful for our dog to undergo testing, so Dr. Jenny, taking into consideration her medical condition and age, took a less aggressive approach that was more comfortable for us, and especially for Bella. We are grateful for her time and expertise. We have been to Animerge for previous emergencies, and we continue to highly recommend this facility for excellent emergency veterinary care.”
“Dr Gallo took me and my cat same day as a walk in. She personally called the next day to see how my cat was doing and helped me to get her healthy again. She is what you hope for in a family vet❤️ you don’t see this much anymore. She was very respectful of the amount of money I was spending and gave me options but did not at all push any expensive interventions or treatments. Highly recommend !”
