“I have been bringing my 2 French Bulldogs here since they were tiny puppies and Harlingen has been wonderful ever since the first visit. Gaston & Petra get SOOO excited to see their very first doctor, Dr. Smetts and the entire team. Dr. Oakley who is their surgeon is fantastic and was even able to treat my chicken when she hurt her foot! The entire staff here are very kind and patient and make you feel right at home. I used a different vet in the past with my cats and honestly felt like they were always trying to push prescriptions and product that I didn't feel were necessary for them, so when I adopted my puppies I did my research to make sure I took them to a vet that had a good reputation for integrity. I never feel like anyone at Harlingen would ever suggest any medicine that is not necessary which is very comforting. I highly recommend Harlingen for your furry and feathery family members.”

“Somerset Vet Dr. Oratio and tech Ashley are superb. They get down on the floor to play with my pup each visit and every question I have is answered thoughtfully and patiently. There is no “rushed” feeling – I feel like my pup and myself are really heard and cared for. Not only is the medical staff amazing, but too are the front desk personnel – Susan, Lauren and Laura. When I come for an appointment they remember that my pup can only have hypoallergenic treats and welcome her with warm voices and “happy to see you” demeanors. They too have gone the extra mile for me when Chewy messed up my monthly prescription food order. Laura patiently recalled Chewy and sat by the fax waiting for their response since she knew I was getting low on the needed dog food. The food arrived the next day! Thank you all of Somerset Vet for caring for my pup and me over all these years!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Basking Ridge Animal Hospital and Dr. Hollo. After our other vet would not remove a growth due to concern of it being more of a major issue, Dr. Hollo came to the rescue. We have a pretty big, but VERY nervous dog that does not do well at vet visits. Everyone we came into contact with was so compassionate and understanding of his situation. When I first called, Nicole took the time to listen to my dogs history, speak with Dr. H about any suggestions, and had us in to see him within a week. At our appointment, Dr. H was exactly what our dog needed. He almost immediately offered to move to a larger space so he was more comfortable and was able to examine him and make clinical recommendations about treatment. He clearly “understood the assignment” and adjusted the appointment so our dog had a good trip. Surgery day was equally successful. Accommodations were made in order to treat my dog as he needed and I couldn’t be happier. Every single person that helped us was smiling, warm, welcoming and I’d definitely recommend them.”

“We highly recommend Dr Wendy Lim, who provides amazing care for our two dogs. She is TRULY a gem of a vet!!! She's super sweet, compassionate and knowledgeable.We had Dr Schaffer for years and he was very good but Dr Wendy goes above and beyond her duty as a vet to make our senior dog more comfortable. Our dog is a little aggressive and because of her age, we can no longer find a groomer who will take her.Dr Wendy is so gentle and soothing and frequently cleans our dog's ears and eyes' infections, trims the hairs around her eyes and does a sanitary shave.The staff at Scotch Plains Animal Hospital is also exceptional. “The vet is very knowledgeable and attentive. He spends time with you answering all your questions, and he doesn't make you feel rushed. Also, he doesn't try to suggest things that aren't needed. And calls after hours to check up and see how your pet is doing. Hard to find a vet that genuinely cares about animals the way he does. Highly recommend this place.PS, aside from seeing dogs and cats, he is also very experienced with rabbits.”

“I just brought our 8 year old Golden Retriever, Kilala, for her yearly exam yesterday to see Dr Seltzer. Kilala actually likes going there. The staff and vet techs are so polite, kind, and love their patients. Dr Seltzer is terrific and listens to you and doesn’t rush your dog’s exam and answers all of your questions. She also was kind to perform minor surgery while we were there rather than us having to schedule another appointment. All of the vets in this practice have been very good in the 8 yrs we have been going there. I miss the original office staff that knew us, but we will surely be happy with the new staff.”

“We like the Clinic overall and in particular the veterinarian. He is knowledgeable yet practical. Many vets push textbook diagnosis and treatment plans as well as treat medication like a standalone profit center. He considered the condition, age and history of our older dog and gave us some practical advice. However, the office operations need some work. They appear to overbook leaving pets and owners sitting in the parking lot for excessive amounts of time. This can cause already present anxiety and discomfort with the pet. They also could improve "triage" to appointments. A pet getting a simple vaccination shouldn't be stuck in a queue with more complicated cases. But, again, we would recommend to others. Just be prepared for delays.”
“I brought my dog in for an eye issue and something else. They followed Covid guidelines and took my dog from the parking lot. They took great care of him as usual, and diagnosed a cataract in one eye. Referred me to an ophthalmologist for appropriate treatment. Thank you!”
“I was referred by a friend Tamara who also takes her cat to Dr. Raj Narala; my cats name is Lucky she is a Sienese cat, she got a bad eye infection, I took her to Banfield in East Brunswick, they had a schedule for surgery but it was too far away and when I took her to get medicine to hold her over, Dr. Anna Bernstein suggested that I put her to sleep, I was so shocked that she would diagnose this instead of working with my cats issue, before her surgery she got out from the garage & was lost for a month she came back, I kept her clean took her for check up to make sure she didn’t have any ticks etc. Long story short time was of the essence; Lucky became very weak, losing weight and her appetite was very little, I reached out to all the emergency vets to be told that the procedure would cost $4000-6,000 to remove her left eye that started to bleed out and cause other health problems, Dr. Raj saw Lucky immediately, took XRays, did a biopsy to check for cancer & any serious damages that may have occurred, her surgery was done within a weeks time, he sent her home with shots, pain medicine, and most of all he GUARANTEED LUCKY’s LIFE WOULD BE PRESERVED for extremely less than Banfield offered & all the other Emergency Veterinary Hospitals. The Relief, Professionalism Honesty, out of pocket expense compassion & reassurance DR. RAJ provided is unexplainable, he treated Lucky as if she was his own pet. He saw the grief in my eyes, shook my hand & Blessed me for trusting him with my Baby Lucky, she is still recovering, she is still here, she is a fighter for life, she didn’t give you, I didn’t give up & Dr. Raj was her God sent Earth Angel!!! Irecommend Faith Veterinary located on Rte.130 in North Brunswick to all pet owners, Dr. Raj couldn’t have done it without his amazing staff. I have 2 pets Lucky my Siamese cat ? & my dog Benji will now be life long patients to Dr. Raj. I Thank God for Faith Veterinary & Especially Dr. Raj. ??????”

“This week was probably one of the hardest weeks for my family and I. Our beloved Tink (who was tiny but mighty) took her final breaths. Dr Sulner and staff were so caring and supportive. Throughout the years Dr Sulner has been amazing, even after another vet gave us a false diagnosis and almost killed our baby. Today we hugged and cried. We new it was time but she fought so hard. Tink loved Dr Sulner (not very often where a dog will give her vet kisses,) she passed on her own at the office. We couldn't thank Dr. Sulner enough for all that she has done for my pups, especially Tink throughout the years. She truly cares, is honest, and goes above and beyond. If you are looking for an amazing vet, this is her! Thank you again to Dr. Sulner and all of her amazing staff. Our family will always consider you a part of our family for all you have done.”
