“My neighbor recommended this place to me. I took my car here after bringing it to another shop for a noise complaint and they did a bunch of work, with the existing noise complaint still present and me believing it was another issue not fixed by the previous shop. The guy took a look and said they were right but there was a problem with the brake install and was fair and said he could replace it and charge me or that what he would do personally is take it back to the previous shop and have it resolved. Guy was very honest and humble and just request I bring my car there for future repairs which of course he got my business. Solid stand up guy.”

“Arnie's saved me from doing some very expensive repairs that Aamco in Matawan said I needed. Aamco said both my drive shafts were bad , all four axles & hubs were bad, two top engine mounts were bad along with a bad oil pressure switch & the secondaty air pump which I went there for. Arnie did a second opinion & found my drive shafts were fine , only one hub & axle needed replacing, & the bottom right motor mount is the only one broken- the top two are fine. I had him replace the oil pressure switch because it was only a few dollars The air pump I did let Aamco replace only because they had opened a credit line for me so I put it on that. They wanted to do $1800 worth of unneeded repairs & put them on my credit too! Arnie saved me from all that ! It's nice to have an honest mechanic !! Thank you Arnie!!so far Arnies has only charged me about $300 in labor & I bought my own parts at a little over $200. A far cry from over $1800 Aamco wanted!!! I would definately recommend Arnie's & will be using his shop again!”
