“While traveling Atlantic City Expressway, we (and 2 other vehicles) ran over an object (none of us saw what it was), roadside assistance came and assisted in putting on the donut tire. We traveled to Stone Harbor (40 miles), called our dealership, they told us we had to have our car towed to their dealership in PA. My husband called Art at the Shell Service Station, the following day,,and he was able to order 2 new tires for the back of our car, within 5 hours! We were in and out of the Service Station within 1 hour on that day! Thank you so much Jerry and Art for such terrific service! Service Center's like yours are almost a thing of the past. We appreciate your service and look forward to seeing you every trip to Cape May and filling up with gas!”
“They were absolutely amazing, 10/10 for service, and on top of it, they were so kind! I was heading to a wedding in Avalon, NJ, from NYC; I got a flat tire on the turnpike, but to make it to the wedding, I had to get to Avalon; it was late at night. The next morning, I called, and they squeezed me in that day before the wedding!!! Literally the best service!!!”

“This Wawa is great! A retro Jersey Shore logo, a 16 minute walk to the boardwalk, and next to Marina Bay Condominiums! Great food, great items! This is where the Jersey Shore guys filmed!!! I didn’t get the opportunity to watch though… but make sure, to go to Marina Bay Condo next year, to live right next to this Wawa and near McDonald’s, CVS, Walgreens, and ACME!Beautiful!Kid-friendliness: Mac and Cheese is delectable.”
“I so much like this gas station. I went to this place last week to buy my kids some treats. The arrangement that was shown was incredible to me because it was very clean and tidy. It was a big store that they owned. They had all the sorts of stuff that you could pick from. I'm going to visit this gas station again for sure.”

“Excellent service! They took care of a fresh water pump on our boat while we were passing through. Charlie took excellent care and went above and beyond to get the job done so we could have running water for the rest of our trip and make schedule. I would highly recommend this marine service company on any transient yachts coming north or south. Five Star rating in my book.”

“Simply the best. Hope & her staff is always outgoing, polite and a joy to visit. Store is always clean organized & involved in the community. This day in age when good help is hard to come by she has cultivated a great staff that is always polite and professional. With as many Wawa’s as there are this location stands out above the rest. I will gladly wait till I get back to town to specifically go to this store rather than any other.”

“Absolutely crazy busy here in the summer time, but cheapest and fastest place to get food in Avalon. Wawa hoagies are the best!! I also always order my iced coffee here but sometimes they only put like 2 ice cubes in it which is very weird. Be careful in the parking lot very hectic!”

“I’ve never left a review for gas station before but I feel compelled to do so today. I was greeted with a smile, a hello for my dog and my windows were washed while they filled up my tank. Such small touches but sorely lacking these days. I plan on being back.”

“This is the only gas station that uses my card for work. The credit card is beat up and doesnt swipe so you have to punch the numbers in. Not a big deal to most but I've been completely refused by riggins and CITGO in Cape may court house. I couldn't even pay inside.”

“First of all, the outside staff deserves some support as they are always there to help and really do a good job at welcoming and giving people a good experience. Both the out and ins go a long way for front line workers and other community members. Beyond necessary understanding.Additionally, inside staff is also very good but I do have to note that the lack of wawa garb is not indicative of staff staying up to date with the gear looks. It is a very close call but an obvious sticking point when considering the juxtaposition to the outdoorsman. I think I caught a good deal there on eggs or stuff that needs to go but it was offset by the trucking staff overtly recruiting some of the island staff. No comment on the grocery in general but if I had to nominate for staff of the years, it is probably an outdoor person from here.As for the internals it is almost too good from time to time and again the garb is a major consideration. I think they just needed the reminder. Maybe wawa watches or better footwear for staff as to they truly do the best they can, and these are long hours.What really gets me is how unappreciative the folks who visit are though the staff is unrelenting in their meting the needs of the visitors to the store location. I hope management can start to stick up for the staff soon as it seems pervasive and does not help folks who rely on the store including community members. It is to the point of passing generations and the era of leading women about or parading / ponying is obviously not helpful to the community or staff who is very important to the community. It is also a youth issue and for staff not helpful. In any event thank you from the front lines.”

“Your typical wawa here - last review was terrible but all because the person never been in a wawa - it's really not that difficult to comprehend. You only have to watch for like 10 seconds to be able to see what's happening and how it works. This person probably doesn't know what a hoagie is either!!So here's a PSA -- You either order from the kiosk for sandwiches and custom food or you walk around and get the grab and go items like a traditional grocery store. You must go through the register to pay. They stamp your receipt paid. When you are finished your food is usually ready to go as well. They call out numbers as they are completed. Your number is on your receipt. Grab your order and throw your receipt in the basket or keep it if you want. The last person said they didn't get a receipt but I always get one at every wawa I've been too even the self check out. Love wawa!!!”

“What a charming place! We arrived here with the intention of staying one night and moving up the coast. Weather not on our side. This morning Tom and his crew moved us to a more sheltered dock to wait out the High winds. Great bath houses, laundry and walking distance to supermarkets , restaurants and drug stores.
