“It’s the idea place to stay in Cape May! The room was spacious and beautiful, with a ridiculously comfy king bed. We were in the Decatur room. The breakfast is fresh fruit yogurt and homemade main courses. Ro and Eric have thought of everything. Free bikes, chairs, excellent coffee tea water and ice all day long. Two blocks to the beach and two to town. You will not want to leave!”

“After an amazing dinner & drinks at the Sand Bar, my fiancee and I noticed our car battery was dead. The entire staff - from the hostess, to the front desk, security, and most importantly valet - went above and beyond in helping us get our car battery jumped and safely out of the parking lot. The men who helped the most from the valet team refused a tip to show how grateful we were.
Our time at the sand bar is always great but this time we got to see first hand what a great staff you have at your establishment. THANK YOU!”

“Really enjoyed our stay at Carroll Villa. The room was VERY clean, bright, and comfortable, and the staff were wonderful. Lots of steps, but we were aware there was no elevator when we booked, so no complaints. We were amazed how quiet it was… expected to hear more noise from other rooms due to the age of the hotel. We appreciated the convenience of the breakfast voucher (or lunch) right downstairs at the Mad Batter, as well as dinner discounts at Mad Batter or Cricket Club. Such a convenient location, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality!!”
“My husband and I came and stayed here on our visit to Cape May and the Dormer house did not disappoint! The historic house is absolutely beautiful and the service was amazing! You receive complimentary breakfast in the morning with coffee and a pastry as well. In the afternoon you receive complimentary tea and cookie for each room. The staff there was so kind, specifically the Inn keeper who made sure to take care of us and really make us feel welcomed. She even made sure to send us home with some muffins since she knew we would be leaving before breakfast the day we had to check out. Overall had a phenomenal experience here and will definitely stay here when we come back!!”

“This hotel is perfect for families, every room has a view of the ocean. The kitchenette was perfect with an electric stove/oven, fridge and freezer, a few stainless steel pots and pans, strainer, cutting board, cutlery, and coffee maker. You can see the sun rise from over the water and the sunset from the entrance of the rooms. The bed and bedding was nice but the rooms feel very old and dated. I wish the interior was more brighter. I would update the sofa fabric, change the rugs and put brighter lights to illuminate the space. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Regardless it's a diamond in the rough in diamond beach. Would go back over and over again, the hotel service is also very accommodating, everyone was very kind. Thanks for the amazing service.”

“Had a great experience at the pyramid, our room was upgraded upon arrival, room was very efficient for us. Had a nice sized refrigerator and a sink, bed was comfortable. The pool area was very nice.. And the ice cream was excellent... My spouse would go here with her family when she was younger, so we decided to go here 50 years later. “In August, I need a hotel room to spend the night after a 24 hour offshore bird and whale watching trip. Sea Crest Inn was one of the only hotels in Cape May that had a room available on the short notice and at what was, for a hotel in Cape May during the tourist season, a very reasonable price with no minimum stay. (For reference, some hotels in Cape May can cost over $1,000 per night with a two night minimum during the summer.) Two days before the trip, the operator pushed back the departure by a day. Not only was the staff at Sea Crest Inn able to change my reservation on such short notice, they only charged the difference in rates between the two days, rather than charging me for both nights. Then, on the day of the tour, the staff went out of their way to facilitate my late check-in, they made sure I was aware how to do so when no desk staff were on duty. And to top it off, they demonstrated a knowledge of the kind of tour I was on and were understanding throughout. From now on, I will be staying here whenever I take a pelagic tour.”

“Clean, well kept, right on the beach, really nice pool. Its dated but super clean and in good shape so who cares. I have a softspot for those colors in bathrooms anyway. Not overly patrolled or policed, yes you can have a beer at the pool, yes you can have a cigarette outside your room. Very good place to stay. We will return.”

Only thing I didn't like was before check out time the house keeping just opened the door because we were in the living room and shower. “We had a fantastic week of family fun and togetherness at this amazing home in July 2026, by far the nicest vacation rental home we have ever stayed in. The location was perfect — just a short 2 blocks from the beach and shops and restaurants right around the corner. This amazingly restored old and very large Victorian home was absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. The flowers, gardens, and landscaping around the exterior of the house and throughout the property created a wonderful setting to enjoy outdoors and on the porches . Private bathrooms in each of the very distinctive 8 bedrooms were wonderful for all of the family and friends we hosted. The home theater with high end projection and audio equipment was a hit at night with both adults and children and was very easy to use with a simple user friendly application on a tablet at the entrance to the room. The kitchen, large dining area, and living rooms on the first floor were ideal for hosting a large group. If you are looking for the perfect place to create a special and memorable experience for family and friends, this is it! Lastly, owner and host Jason was truly a pleasure to work with — super friendly, responsive, and attentive to our needs. Thank you Jason!!!”
“I just stayed at Jetty Motel for my first time Sat: July 4,2026- today- Mon: July 6, 2026. From the moment I approached the front counter - The woman with black curly hair is SO HELPFUL, sweet and personable. Love her!!!! Also the older white gentleman and woman too, Staff is incredible!!! My room was a King efficiency and super clean & comfortable. I felt super safe and the pool is awesome, clean & enjoyable. CAN’T WAIT to return maybe next month or October and again next Summer. “This was our family’s second year staying at Beach Plum Farm, and if I could give it a thousand stars, I would!
We stayed in the Hidden Cottage, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. It has two beautiful primary en suite bedrooms, so my daughter and her husband had their own wonderful space, and my husband and I did as well. The third bedroom has two twin beds, which was perfect for our two grandsons.
The farm itself is simply gorgeous—beautifully maintained, pristine, peaceful, and filled with thoughtful amenities. What really sets Beach Plum Farm apart, though, is the extraordinary level of service. We had daily housekeeping, and this wasn’t just fresh towels and linens. They thoroughly cleaned the entire cottage every day!
The innkeepers could not have been more attentive, warm, or accommodating. When my knee started acting up, they immediately brought over ice and an ice pack. Another evening, we realized we had run out of butter after the store had already closed. We sent a quick text to the innkeepers, and before we knew it, they delivered butter right to our cottage—at no charge!
They also provide a golf cart, which makes getting around Cape May easy and so much fun.
Beach Plum Farm has created something truly special. The beautiful surroundings are wonderful, but it’s the warmth, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality that make us want to return year after year.
We’re already looking forward to our third visit next year. A thousand stars from our family! ⭐”
