Breakfast is okay, but we're always asking for things. Seems like there's no one working specifically in the breakfast room anymore. Plus it ends at 9am, which is too early during summer vacation.

“My now-husband and I, and our families, stayed at The James Bradley Hotel for our wedding weekend. I can't say enough positive things about how GORGEOUS and well-manicured the property is. We rented out the bungalow at the back of the property and took our family and first look photos in the back courtyard (my photographer was VERY happy :) ). The bungalow itself was very spacious and our hair /makeup artists were amazed at how much natural light there was inside! The beds were also very comfortable to sleep in, and the air conditioning was FANTASTIC (I like it cold?❄️). The breakfast included was clearly made with care and so fresh- I had one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had here! Our guests stated that the rooms in the main hotel were very comfortable and cozy.

Now, I want to write a review specifically for Emily, the General Manager. She is a true professional- from day 1, she was warm and an absolute delight to work with. She answered all of my millions of questions throughout the planning process and just made me feel at ease. Emily was by far the easiest of our vendors to work with. Everything was perfect and she got every small detail right. Our guests who stayed at the hotel had nothing but amazing things to say about her and the hotel itself. THANK YOU and we will absolutely be back for our anniversary:)”

“Linda & Bill always provide top tier hospitality. Bills breakfast is cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Quiet, calm and cozy atmosphere. 6 minute walk to the beach perfect spot for vacation. This place is really such a gem.”

“The pros: great location, in walking distance to beach and stores. Contactless check-in makes late night arrival a breeze. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good (seriously where do you guys get that lemon pound cake? It’s all I can think about! The cons: we stayed in #7 and while the room itself was nice, the window air conditioning units need some attention. They do blow cold air, but they may need some cleaning. Both nights of our stay, my boyfriend and I woke up both morning with sinus issues that relieved when we left during the day but came back when we returned to the room at night. We would stay here again.”

“Just got back from a great stay at the Chateau Inn & Suites. The place is charming and super clean, but what really made it special was the staff. Sage, April, and Ryan were awesome, friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.

“I had such a genuinely wonderful experience at The Inn at Ocean Grove. From the moment I arrived, everything just felt warm, peaceful, and thoughtfully put together. Liz runs the place with so much care it really shows in the little details that make your stay feel personal instead of just transactional.
The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, the space is beautifully kept, and you can tell there’s intention behind everything from the décor to the way guests are treated. It felt like a perfect escape, whether you’re looking to relax, reset, or just enjoy a quiet, charming place by the ocean.
What stood out most to me was the hospitality. Liz is attentive and creates an environment where you feel comfortable and taken care of without being overbearing. And Ashley is always warm and welcoming when I see her, and her breakfast blueberry muffins are absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a place that feels both professional and heartfelt at the same time, but they absolutely nail it.
I would 100% recommend The Inn at Ocean Grove to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run, and genuinely enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be back.”

“I stayed at belmar inn in 2024 it was so nice inside n the staff was so pleasant. The owner I give thumbs up he was so nice. My room was at the top of the stairs it was nice n comfy, even thou I had to sleep with the markee sign that said belmar inn In my window,I didn't have a issue with that from light shinning in the window. I did have a leak in my window of cold air near bed but they fixed it by putting plastic wrap over the window n taping it. It was such a nice motel two mins from the beach right u could walk to every day. And 7 eleven even thou had to walk to 8th ave by the beach it was convenient at night when u wanted something late snack. N then u had another 7 eleven n dollar general off mainstreet but that was six blocks n they were only open til 9 pm. It too bad the motel gonna be replaced for condos they could have made a lot of money since belmar motor lodge is now gone. ?”

“We used the Hall at the Asbury Hotel for my husband’s 60th birthday party. My primary contact, Ali, was great at walking me through this whole process. This was probably the biggest event I ever planned and I had less than two months to pull it off. But we felt that we were in very capable hands from day one!
Kim, the banquet manager was there ALL DAY for everything we needed! I couldn’t believe she was still there when the party was going on…that was a long day for her! And everything was perfect! The banquet captains, Katie and Olga, and the rest of the staff…omg the food, drinks and service were all outstanding (like…the food was REALLY good!!!).
They had great suggestions on the lighting. It made such a difference and completed that speakeasy vibe we wanted. And the recommendation for the DJ was SO good! Everyone loved the music and the videos. And some of my friends want the playlist lol!
If anyone needs a venue for a party/wedding I must insist you check out The Asbury hotel!! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish!

“This place is an experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is small and intimate, which makes the stay feel really special. The on-site restaurant is easily 5 star quality, and the pool club is more than you could ask for. There's even a coffee and matcha truck on site, and you can have food and drinks delivered right to your lounge chair by using a cleverly QR code. Everything we tried was excellent.

It's definitely on the pricey side but absolutely worth the splurge for the overall experience!”

“Had lunch with the Ladies on a Saturday afternoon. Not overly busy in the dead of winter so didn't feel rushed. The menu selection is extensive and all reasonably priced. The waitstaff is attentive and professional. A good place for a pleasant experience.”

Right from the start of checking in with this wonderful and helpful front desk person named Bob we could tell our stay was off to a wonderful day. “We chose to have a baby shower at the Shore Club this December. Dorina Bregu, Wedding and Events Sales Director was outstanding! She couldn't have been more accommodating. She knows the place and the people she works with, her recommendations were key to making this gathering top notch. At the time of event the staff introduced themselves and checked in throughout to make sure our vision was what they delivered! I was very impressed with the coordination and attentiveness. They put up Christmas trees for us and moved things around seamlessly. Their response time was minutes! The prices were very affordable, family members are considering future events here too.
I understand they are under new ownership, the vibe is positive and promising. Home of the new OLEA restaurant. I wish them all success.”

“We loved our stay here! We came during the off season and fell in love with the location, amenities, furnishings and bar. The hotel staff couldn't be anymore helpful, kind and accommodating. We can't wait to come back this summer.”

“Decent hotel that feels clean and comfortable, even if it is not as updated as some other Residence Inn locations. The room had a nice layout with a fireplace and plenty of space to relax. The breakfast area was large and well stocked in the morning.

The only downside was the front desk service. The employee working last night was friendly but very slow, which made check in take longer than it should have. Overall, still a pleasant stay and a solid choice for the area.”

“Im not from here but location is perfect where I need to go for my meeting in the morning. Service is exemplary and I appreciate it . My first room had a broken heater and I’m from the south so I need heat lol! They had someone come check it out, confirmed it wasn’t working and brought me another key and checked me into a room super close. THANK YOU!!! The service is normally what keeps me coming back to Hilton. The rooms of course! Clean and ample in size.”

“I recently checked out the front desk lady Sophia is absolutely amazing & kind hearted, She does everything that she possibly can do when it came to needing ice when the bar was closed she went and grabbed it for us at 10pm, as well as having a room with an issue of mold she upgraded us without any issues She’s overall wonderful and exceeded our needs , I had a wonderful 60th birthday!”

“Our visit was for 1 night, beds & pillows were great.Beds were not high from the floor normal height, great w/my disability. We had a kitchen, normal size fridge,room was very clean, tv worked great.Bad side, door was wide open when we got off the elevator upon arrival, air conditioner went on over night & almost froze us out, when we called the front desk a woman answered and did nothing about it, wondering why they have overnight staff if they wont even come and check the room or offer to change our room.Free breakfast is a real joke, they offer coffee in big erns from a small table at the front door, sloppy and they should not offer this as it looks terrible and junky,Cigarrette buts all over the entrance entrance and sidewalk in the parking lot”

“The service was wonderful! The lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind. The room was clean although the towels could be bigger, and it would be nice to have a box of tissues in the room. Conveniently located near the beach.”

“What a phenomenal trip. I was there volunteering on the staff for a symposium and the entire weekend was such a wonderful experience. Decent, moderately priced food inside the hotel itself, the staff were some of the kindest people I've ever met in hospitality, and their event team was completely on their game. There's also a Salon attached to the hotel and accessible through the lobby. I didn't need a cut, but the people working there seemed as polite and friendly as the rest of the crew.

The space is good for weddings, conferences, symposiums and any other potentially large gathering. The town itself is freaking beautiful - the beach is a block from the hotel, there's a boardwalk with a playground and old fashioned arcade nearby, a record store, a bowling alley, plenty of entertainment and food options.

My only complaint is that one of the lamps in our room (817) didn't have a switch. Like... it fell out or was pulled out. We just unplugged it for the weekend. One of the electrical outlets in the room was a super loose fit for most of our chargers, too.

Amenities in the room are an ice bucket and free water bottles, the basic lineup in the bathroom, and cable TV. I do wish they had water bottle refill stations in the hotel common areas and by the ice machines, but the age and infrastructure of the building make sense as to why.

The rooms were a bit on the pricier side, though that appears to be a theme throughout the rest of the town. It definitely requires thorough planning to enjoy your trip - the bill can add up quickly if you're not careful.

Street parking in the off season was a very reasonable rate. Valet was a bit pricey for my agenda and wallet.”

“The Crystal inn in Eatontown New Jersey is a acceptable place to stay when visiting the beach in Long Branch New Jersey. First room that I was provided smelled like cigarette smoke. Second room had the smell of marijuana. Rooms have minimal accommodations which reflect on the price of the room. The pool is very nice. We did experience a naked man walk out of his room first thing this morning, which I will have burned into my brain for an unfortunate while. I guess you get what you pay for. +$400 for 2 nights”

“I want to say the name is now called the ( ANCHOR INN ) It's very quiet, staff is polite and it's very clean. There's no DRUGS. The new owners are very strict on traffic and drugs so if that is what u are into this is not the place for you this new owners cleaned it up. Police patrol daily. There's no crime I've left my door open several times and went to the office you must be a registered guest and visitors must check in at the office they're very strict on that if you are looking for a place that's quiet, clean, and you are in need of rest than this is the place for you. If you have a vehicle it will be safe no matter what I've been here for a year due to a fire in the apartments I lived and waiting on another place to open. So, I know what it's like here. This is also the cheapest in the area as for anything cheaper than this it would be full of drugs and crime and I wouldn't recommend unless of course that is what u are into if not then this is the place for you.
