“I have been going to Modern Propane in Lodi so far back that they were operating out of a shipping container! I had a Charmhlow CC1 for over 40 years and Modern supplied me with all the replacement parts that I needed… burners, grates, knobs and handles and valves. That was a top of the line grill but finally it died. I purchased a Broil King Monarch 390 floor model. I understand that it is a top of the line Canadian product and I couldn’t be happier with it and all of Modern Propanes employees over the years. Thanks”

“Another business closed in Glen Rock but is said to be opening a new store in Fair Lawn. When? Hard to say at this time. See the phone number and follow the prompts and it will put you in touch with the staff.. This was another family business that was like a mom and pop store that knew your name, reliable and did quality work at a fair price. Ridgewood is now my go to. Parking was a worry but they have built a parking deck so that solves that worry. Thanks for reading and stay safe!!!”

“Great place to shop. They have so many different cool electronics. But remember, this store is like a museum. You just come here to try everything out and see it hands-on. Then, just make sure to go on the internet and buy it for much cheaper. They sometimes may have good deals in the open box section. Always make sure to check there first.”

“Good day! My Kenmore washing machine wasn't working last weekend, so I set up an appointment and the tech was there in a couple of days. He quickly evaluated the machine, said what it needed and the price was fair. They needed to order the parts which is standard. I called Friday and asked what the status was. Joanne(very friendly), who answered the phone, told me the parts were due in on Monday and put me down for the repair on Tuesday, assuming the parts came in on time which they did. The tech was at my house this morning, did the repair and the machine is now working perfectly. So happy I reached out, will absolutely use Rockland Appliance Center again. Friendly staff and very professional. A++++”

We stopped at your store, had the pleasure of meeting JUDI...JUDI helped my friends with their questions about FLOORING: textures, durability, safety issues in the snow/rainy weather. Where their deck was going to be located, sun v.s. shade, and of course, price. She did a total uncovering of what they wanted. That is what I call "Professional", (she even said she liked my sneakers, lol)

“Very nice showroom, everything was displayed in a way that you could see the functionality and style of the merchandise. Prices were also displayed. I waited about 20 minutes for a designer to become available and the interactions were professional and extremely informative. Most of the merchandise is very high-end, and expensive. If you have no issues spending money, this is the place for you. It is also a good place to go if you want ideas”

“We moved from NJ to PA. Dave did such a great job replacing the wood stove at our NJ home (approx 6-7 years ago), we asked if he would install the same wood stove in our new home. We just enjoyed our 1st fire and it was a quality install once again. Dave is a perfectionist. Takes care of everything. So tidy as well. My husband and I would give him 10 stars !!!”
“Everyone complains about poor service but I'd like to highlight some exceptionally good service.On November 4 I went to the Paramus NJ store to purchase foam insulation boards and rent a vehicle to transport them. First I signed up for the rental then went to purchase the product. I faced disappointment when the boards were not in the location they were supposed to be and store staff had to locate and them and bring them down from a high shelf. Then I had to check out the very bulky items. The process took time and I was on the rental clock. But what could have been a frustrating experience was turned pleasant by the friendly and helpful store staff. I was especially impressed with the tool/vehicle rental staff who noticed the purchase delay and reset the rental clock before I even asked (I was told it is policy to allow consideration for purchase time but the staff tracked it without me having to make a fuss). Now it looks like I'll need to purchase a dishwasher soon. Paramus HD is now #1 on my shopping list!(BTW I got an email for the survey but I was busy, and before I had a chance to fill it in, the survey expired. Seems to expire after 7 days - not enough time for people busy with their projects!)”
“This was a first time going to all major appliances yesterday November 4th 2025. The young man who helped me was super nice and helped us find a washer & dryer. The price for the LG thin Q washer & dryer we liked was a great deal. Yes, there were a few dents but, I found only 1 small dent on the washer and a very small dent & almost non-visible scratch on the dryer. But, other then that so far no problems with either machines. I couldn't put up the pictures but both machines look really good.”
