“I am a resident and had to request a maintenance order and the office was super understanding of work schedule and gave me plenty of time to get everything in order. The maintenance crew were quick and efficient to everything I needed to get done and did it without even knowing anyone they were there. Overall great experience and felt well taken care of with a confirmation email to inform me they were all finished.”

“I lived at this complex for 3 1/2 years and I enjoyed it. The office staff was always great to me. Sue and Jesus were amazing. There were other assistant managers throughout the years that treated me very well too. Maintenance staff was great too and very informative with what they were fixing. When asked maintenance would explain the repairs in detail.
When I needed anything done with my apt they fixed it quickly (which wasn’t much just normal upkeep). My apt was nice, it was a luxury for me to have in unit washer and dryer and a dishwasher.
The only down side is thin walls. I knew more about my neighbors then I cared to know.
I’m sorry for the late review it’s been almost 8 months since I left.
Truly miss the office staff and living there. It was definitely bitter sweet having to move to another state.

“The Landmark is a great mix of commercial and residential in Uptown.Just a few businesses on the ground level, with the pool, community room and gym all above average for the area. The ladies in the front office (Brittney and Cassie?) are super helpful and maintain a friendly, safe, accommodating environment.We love the Landmark!”

“My brother had an illness Richard the manager worked with him up until the day my brother died my brother had financial problems being he couldn’t work anymore and his social security was extremely late!!! Would not kick in until months later after he was approved and he never lived to see it and I , we my sister and mother appreciated Richard very much for understanding and not putting a financial worry on my brother in his last days . May Jehovah God bless Richard he’s a great person with a good heart!!!! Beyond words as soon as I’m done grieving, he will see me again. Thank you Richard you proved thre are good people in the world and so happy God put you in Roberts path. ??”

“I just bought a property on phase 2 of Tierra Del Oro community from Omar Rodriguez!! Man the experience has been absolutely exceptional, I’m very impressed with the level of knowledge and professionalism both Twilight Homes as well as Omar has given me throughout this experience. I would absolutely recommend this builder to any in search for a new home that is considering a new build! I purchased Lot 48 on section 8, can’t wait to see my home take shape through the next 8 months??? thank you so much for this wonderful experience!!”

“I lived in ABQ for about 15 years stayed here for about 3 of them. Of the 5 or so places I have lived, this place is top two. It's quiet, the rent is reasonable for the space, maintenance is very good, neighbors are fantastic, management is very transparent. My only negative is the appliances are a bit dated, no laundry hook ups, parking depending on where you live can be a hassle. The first floor also comes with a higher chance to get bugs since there are lots of grass and water on the property. Still would liked to stay here longer.”

“This place has been great for myself, my s/o, and our dog, renting a 2br, 1ba apartment on a 2nd floor. As long as rent doesn't get too much more expensive, or hopefully drops a little, we'll probably renew again.

Pros: the maintenance team ROCK! We've never gone more than 2 business days without an issue being addressed. We had an AC issue addressed next day, and a Dishwasher issues addressed within 2 days. The office is consistent with communication by emails at minimum, and they seem to have a community event or two go on seasonally.

Cons: No true cons to say that would be in control of the complex. Parking can be a minor gripe at times, so I recommend taking parking distance in mind if looking for a place here. Other thing is that Amazon tends to be hit or miss with deliveries, wickedly their vendor/3rd party delivery people.. have had two exclusive in last three months where deliveries were never recirculation and/or packages mis- delivered were left at our door opened and given to us only after the wrong recipient found our order useless or no value to them.. so make sure your deliveries get manual delivery instructions... but again, that's not on the compress, just crud neighbors not being considerate.

Overall, great place to live, a Lil pricey but it's been worth it for us. World recommend. ??

EDIT 12/31/25: We renewed to stay another year here, we've been pleased so far with the first year. I know others have reported bug problems, or leaks or other issues.. realistically, you'll always find problems at any place you go. For us in the same 2br, 1ba, 2nd fl apt, we've never had bug issues, no water issues, any heat/ac issues were resolved within same or next day at latest, maintenance guys are always nice and get fixes resolved the first time. Rent stayed same for the apt, $1630/mo, keep in mind we have pets) but who's not over-priced right now? The area itself is great to be for location to just about anything you need. Only issues we've had are issues the apartment can't really control like lazy tenants who won't pick up their own dog waste, or cars that speed through & rev their engines later at night. Still recommended, ESPECIALLY compared to other apartments nearby, if you can afford the higher cost for rent.”

“The process was super quick and easy. Janette was extremely helpful, friendly, and patient and made this a far more positive experience than I'm used to. VERY affordable rent, especially if you come from one of the more expensive states lol. Love all the included utilities (wifi and cable too!) and the amenities (laundry, pool, gym)!”

“I lived here for close to two years. The apartment are really nice the staff is so kind. The area is beautiful and it’s generally a quite complex. Maintenance was AMAZING. I don’t know the only maintenance man’s name but he was always just the best person I’ve ever come across: I don’t have any complaints. I was so sad to leave but, I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking into a nice, add environment not just for themselves but their children if you have any.”

“About two months living in here and it’s been great so far!

They’ve added onsite security during the nighttime that you can call and let them know when something bad is going on.

Our dryer that was part of the unit broke down and they basically completely replaced it with a new one since we were told this was a very old unit.

Rent is somewhat affordable but they have the option of doing Flex Rent

Only minor downside is that Central can be noisy but it’s only for a short time.”

They keep a really clean place here, not any riffraff in the apartments are very nice. everything that you could possibly need is all around you. I made a great decision moving here.”

“I moved here in December of 2020. The building has controlled access and many amenities. The grounds are very well kept and the building is well maintained. I like the convenient location with many grocery stores and eating establishments located near by. It's a 55 and older community and much quieter than my last apartment. There's an indoor heated pool and nice courtyard within the confines of the building. They have laundry facilities located throughout the building and the mail boxes are located indoors also. I had placed my name on a waiting list and waited for near 1 year before the unit I moved to was available. I needed a ground floor unit as I am disabled. It was very much worth the wait. I love it here. This place is a very good value for the price. Very happy here”

“Great place to live! I got my apartment, and the garage is abnormally huge. The renovated units are outstanding, but so is the price. The classic models are very reasonable for the area and type of place. The jym is large and has a great selection of machines. The pool won't be open till May though. The upgraded units are worth the price. They are built like Sherman tanks. I am on a busy corner, but I cannot hear the traffic.”

“Came by recently to get information on their 3 bedroom apartment homes and was greeted by Meaghan. Her warm welcome and friendly personality made it feel like a desired place to call home. Pricing of their units are reasonable compared to the market right now and the property was well kept with a beautiful location. The 3 bedroom layout is spacious and it's definitely at the top of our list with Apartment Hunting! Thank you Meaghan for taking your time to answer all of our questions and being so patient with us.”

“Changed management as of December 20 2021 (do not contact Elevated Management or the numbers listed here on google). Only provided notices on the door. We signed a lease Dec. 1st and were not told of the up coming change in management. Not too happy with the bait and switch, hope that my year long rental insurance purchased through them is still good. Good price and location so far, no idea if there will be a rent increase with the new company. As cosigner I am disappointed in the communication, wish they would have provided more details in their portal.UPDATE: 1/21/21. So far the new management company Deacon is pretty good. They set up the portals as quick as a single person could do, and were very friendly on the phone. So I am bumping up the star to reflect their service so far.”

“While the office staff/management are very good (lived there for about 6 years), the maintenance is hit or miss. Of the 3 maintenance individuals on staff, 1 is excellent, 1 is good and 1 is significantly bad. Sierra (leasing agent) and Andrea (property manager) are thorough, knowledgeable and quick to respond. The property itself and the grounds are subpar. I left end of December 2022 and the rent was going to be raised to over $900/mo for a 1bdrm w/washer & dryer hookups. The area of town is bad and getting worse. The complex to the East of Sunchase frequently have police dispatched responding to violence (read homicide, domestic violence, gunfire, fireworks). The inside of the apartment is outdated and worn. the carpet has been trampled by hundreds of tenants, the "hard surfaces" are linoleum and not even great linoleum, some plugs work and some don't, so many layers of paint (even over hair on the wall), not enough closets (2), not enough storage. The parking enforcement is overzealous in that they will tow you 1 day past your registration due date (yes, they check your tags). You can guess that I was affected by this even though I informed the parking agency I didn't have my tags but had registered. The units have fireplaces that are unnecessary, and your heat will go up the chimney since there is no way to close the opening. I loved having my washer and dryer in my unit, but the proximity of neighbors and thinness of walls prevented me from doing laundry after 9pm or before 7am. My upstairs neighbor would exercise and, because of the materials used in the building, it sounded like they were going to break through the floor/ceiling. The swamp cooler constantly had to be fixed and it really only blew cold air in the bedroom.Accommodations must be made when living in an apartment so, while I won't NOT recommend Sunchase, I also won't recommend them. It's a hard housing market out there and Sunchase needs to do something to be more attractive. Maybe converting to refrigerated air/updating appliances/nicer flooring choices. But, all those increase rent costs so, maybe not. Good luck!”

“I am sorry. I am reading these nasty reviews that were left within the last few months and can tell you they are absolutely not true. I have lived here for 8+ years with my husband and have never had any issues with Denise, Robert, James or other tenants. They actually let more than they should have go. The people writing these reviews are upset because they did wrong and got asked to leave. Apartments are being worked on along with the outside of the property to better it for the current and future tenants. The pictures of the “dirtiness” is caused by tenants that don’t clean up from their pets( the ones asked to leave, on top of other issues caused by them) and not picking up their trash. I absolutely love this place! Denise and Robert are always so happy and friendly and if you have an issue they are quick to fix it. Don’t let a couple bad reviews detour you from here! It’s a great friendly community!!!”

“Honestly, I was surprised by how much I have enjoyed being here. I feel safe and home is what you make of it. If you show a little love to your apartment it truly makes a difference. Every single staff member that works here is caring, kind and understanding. Tammy is a fantastic manager who does care for her tenants. She also tends to spoil us, from her baked goodies to pizza on any given day. It truly does feel like a community and everyone looks out for each other.”
