“The Landmark is a great mix of commercial and residential in Uptown.Just a few businesses on the ground level, with the pool, community room and gym all above average for the area. The ladies in the front office (Brittney and Cassie?) are super helpful and maintain a friendly, safe, accommodating environment.We love the Landmark!”

“Been here since October 2017. The maintenance team and office staff are great. They fix things quickly and are constantly trying to make upgrades, keep things clean, peaceful, and safe. Rent and utilities here have been a huge plus. Hoping it stays affordable. They have a great referral program! My name is Charlie(wink wink).Location in UpTown is great with busses, 3 malls, restraunts, movie theater, and services all in walking distances. Laundry machines and swimming pool here, some people have pets(plus and minus), you still need a steering wheel lock & kill switch for your vehicle.”

“Maintenance workers are excellent! They fix the problem right the first time, when and if they have all tools and supplies necessary! This is the main reason I moved back. They deserve a huge raise - seriously, I've been a facility manager and I know great workers when I see them perform their work. They are also very dedicated!”

“Clean rooms! Accessibility issues or would have earned 5th star. I know. Right? A senior community but there were no bars in the bathroom, challenges to inter-building movement and to other areas of the community. There is no weekend access to indoor pool--stairs.Secure - Friendly Staff - Beautiful Space - Convenient to ABQ Bus Line - Walmart ACROSS THE STREET - Price is AMAZINGA well earned 4 stars. Bars and ramps are all that are needed for perfection.”

“I’ve lived here for just over a year now and it’s been nothing but good experiences. The office staff is so kind and welcoming. They are always so helpful. If you need something fixed, they will always take care of it in a timely manner. The maintenance staff are just as kind and they care about the families that live here. My apartment is spacious and I love the high ceilings. Last summer my AC went out and they fixed it within a day, it’s been running great ever since. When the ceiling light in my kitchen went out, they replaced it with a brand new fixture. For the price and location, I don’t think it could get any better. I’m very happy to be a resident here and plan to stay here for a few more years until I’m able to buy my own home. Highly recommend Eagle Ranch Apartments!”

“I love it here thus far! Ezequiel was fantastic with helping us apply and throughoutthe whole process. He was there the whole time to answer our billion questions. When we first scheduled an appointment to find out about the complex, he took us around the entire place and showed us all the amenities it had to offer and giving very through descriptions and explanations of everything, and once we were approved, he had our welcome letter and lease agreement done within just minutes! I couldn't believe how fast it was. We would've moved in within one day if we didn't have trouble getting the paperwork on our end. The complex is very clean, quiet and peaceful. The amenities are amazing and the view is incredible! The only issue we can see thus far is parking. There are numerous car ports available for rent, but barely any parking spaces available for those that do not rent one, so twice already we had to park very far from our unit, which can be very challenging when you have 2 babies and groceries like I do.”

“While the office staff/management are very good (lived there for about 6 years), the maintenance is hit or miss. Of the 3 maintenance individuals on staff, 1 is excellent, 1 is good and 1 is significantly bad. Sierra (leasing agent) and Andrea (property manager) are thorough, knowledgeable and quick to respond. The property itself and the grounds are subpar. I left end of December 2022 and the rent was going to be raised to over $900/mo for a 1bdrm w/washer & dryer hookups. The area of town is bad and getting worse. The complex to the East of Sunchase frequently have police dispatched responding to violence (read homicide, domestic violence, gunfire, fireworks). The inside of the apartment is outdated and worn. the carpet has been trampled by hundreds of tenants, the "hard surfaces" are linoleum and not even great linoleum, some plugs work and some don't, so many layers of paint (even over hair on the wall), not enough closets (2), not enough storage. The parking enforcement is overzealous in that they will tow you 1 day past your registration due date (yes, they check your tags). You can guess that I was affected by this even though I informed the parking agency I didn't have my tags but had registered. The units have fireplaces that are unnecessary, and your heat will go up the chimney since there is no way to close the opening. I loved having my washer and dryer in my unit, but the proximity of neighbors and thinness of walls prevented me from doing laundry after 9pm or before 7am. My upstairs neighbor would exercise and, because of the materials used in the building, it sounded like they were going to break through the floor/ceiling. The swamp cooler constantly had to be fixed and it really only blew cold air in the bedroom.Accommodations must be made when living in an apartment so, while I won't NOT recommend Sunchase, I also won't recommend them. It's a hard housing market out there and Sunchase needs to do something to be more attractive. Maybe converting to refrigerated air/updating appliances/nicer flooring choices. But, all those increase rent costs so, maybe not. Good luck!”

“I initially wrote a review our first year here (one star) and have reconsidered to give Manzano Mesa Apartments (five stars) a better review. After being a resident for the past three years, my family and I have found our apartment to be very comfortable. We live in a two bedroom apartment dwelling with a washer/dryer unit and we also have the privilege of renting a garage unit with the complex.The manager Sue and the office staff take initiative to make sure all guidelines are met by each resident with newsletters, phone calls, and appointments. The maintenance members also make it a priority to to maintain the complex and answer request in a timely manner. The upkeep of the property is well maintained and it is a very beautiful peaceful place to live.My children and I feel safe with no real issues to complain of. We enjoy the amenities available for use, the fitness room and the outdoor swimming pool (open during Summer). We also have an amazing next door neighbor and we are proud to be residents of Manzano Mesa Apartments. Thank you to Sue and the office staff as well as Tim and the maintenance crew for all that you do to keep Manzano Mesa Apartments a safe beautiful place to live.”

“I moved here in December of 2020. The building has controlled access and many amenities. The grounds are very well kept and the building is well maintained. I like the convenient location with many grocery stores and eating establishments located near by. It's a 55 and older community and much quieter than my last apartment. There's an indoor heated pool and nice courtyard within the confines of the building. They have laundry facilities located throughout the building and the mail boxes are located indoors also. I had placed my name on a waiting list and waited for near 1 year before the unit I moved to was available. I needed a ground floor unit as I am disabled. It was very much worth the wait. I love it here. This place is a very good value for the price. Very happy here”

“Had some issues with apartment like AC failing, hot water failing, or shower leaking. But the most important things for me was that maintenance always took quick action within the same day to help.Management was very fair when it came to my move out. I was sent an account of the move out charges and they were reasonable. One of the best move out experiences i have had.”

“Great place to live! I got my apartment, and the garage is abnormally huge. The renovated units are outstanding, but so is the price. The classic models are very reasonable for the area and type of place. The jym is large and has a great selection of machines. The pool won't be open till May though. The upgraded units are worth the price. They are built like Sherman tanks. I am on a busy corner, but I cannot hear the traffic.”

“I just moved here and have found the service great. The staff are very friendly, and all of my initial maintenance concerns were handled promptly. When I found mice in the garage I am renting, they even worked to put some traps to alleviate the problem. While I cannot speak for others, my experience has been remarkably different than what the google reviews indicated and significantly more positive. Either they are under new management or are working harder to earn your business. In any case, if this level of service continues, I will continue to renew my lease! Additionally, the value proposition of the current rent level compared to nearby complexes is superior, you get more apartment for the money.”

“Yesterday 08/14/2023 I was looking for an apartment in a nice neighborhood and found the Beach Apartments. It is in a beautiful area very clean and affordable for me. I found the manager wonderful, kind and very helpful. But the advice for the naysayers. Your approach about issues can be harsh. Please be patient and kind. The manager has a lot to do with taking care of the hole apartment’s and resistances. She has rules that she has to follow to. Kindness goes a long way. I’m on a waiting list now. I hope to get a apartment soon.”

“I recently moved here from a complex that has better reviews and is in a more prime location near Corrales. Unfortunately that complex location has gone down. I was constantly putting up with homeless issues and my car being broken into and vandalized with constant worry for my family when I was at work. Here at the Aspens I already have had a much better living experience. The issues I was having at my old apartment are gone. Seems to be the location, while not as good as my old place it’s less of a hotspot for what drove me to move.Yes, The Aspens doesn’t have great Google reviews though I am unsure why. My moving experience was great. The staff was very supportive and responsive to my needs and concerns. Maintenance quickly resolved the few minor issues I had with my apartment moving in. I truly feel much safer here and am not worried my car is going to get stolen or broken into. While it can happen anywhere, my old complex near Corrales was so ridden with crime I took the leap to move here and it was entirely worth it. The Aspens even offers covered parking and garages which secure a parking place for you no matter the time of day or night you come home.Sometimes reviews and others experiences are misleading as this is the case with the Aspens. If you are planning on moving I suggest moving here and not solely relying on Google reviews. Yes other places might have “cleaner” grounds and better amenities, though, is that what’s important in a city where it’s hard to feel like you, your loved ones and belongings are safe? The Aspens even has upgraded apartments, washer and dryer, and larger living space for less than the my old apartment. Love this place.”
