This store has heart cause I felt the care . The employees treat your dog as one of their own . They will show care and concern as well as recommend things to help your fur baby. Y'all made me cry, everyone was so welcoming.

The workers around the store and at the registers are always friendly and helpful EXCEPT for one time when I paid cash and the young lady at the register refused to give me ALL of my change back. I asked several times and she didn't care and said its no big deal. So we walked out.

4020 Peggy Rd SE Ste A, Rio RanchoI had a fantastic experience with this groomer. She is incredibly knowledgeable about double-coated dogs and took the time to educate me during our visit. We both agreed that a double coat should never be shaved unless there is extreme matting.
Instead, she expertly groomed the top two inches and left the protective undercoat completely intact.She also gave me great advice, noting that it is best never to start trimming this type of coat at all. The results look amazing, my dog was comfortable, and I learned a lot from the process. I highly recommend her for her skill and her dedication to proper coat health!
Just a note: I will be returning to this groomer but had a few notes. I was not asked about shot records though my dog was fully vaccinated and heart worm is kept up to date. She lets the dogs out of crates though with my dog he may have been more comfortable in a crate. Some dogs feel more comfortable that way but he was a happy dog when I picked him up! :)

The staff and the doctors are so kind, gentle, knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. My boxer is 10 years old and has been coming here since he was a little puppy! When we walk in he goes straight to the scale and sits right down so I can call out his weight for the check in process.

Mesa Grande Animal Clinic in Rio Rancho is the best veterinary clinics I have ever experienced.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place operates differently. The front desk staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, not just polite, but truly caring. They remember you, they remember your pet, and they treat you like family rather than just another appointment on the schedule.
The doctor is absolutely amazing. He is an angel of a human being. Treated my dog like if it was his. What really sets Mesa Grande Animal Clinic apart is their compassion.
It is rare to find a clinic where trust comes so easily, but Mesa Grande has earned it completely. If you are in Rio Rancho and want the absolute best care for your pet, this is the place to go. I would not trust my dog with anyone else.

Left them a message to make an appointment because my dog has been having seizures for the past few years and the other vet I was going to did nothing about it. My dad referred me to sunrise cause he takes his dog there. They were able to somehow get me in that day- which is much appreciated. Dr. Abernathy is great, well educated and caring. He explained to me that putting my dog on a seizure medication would hopefully help him in the future- which is way more than the other vet did for me. The staff there is awesome and friendly. Was a great price too. I’m so happy I finally found my pets a good, trustworthy vet. Highly recommend.

Small business and excellent Dr. will soon retire which explains less hours that are available. They have offered for our pup good wellness care, and shots plus routine heartworm med. were affordable. Front desk help is so informative with issues that were resolved often over the phone. FYI- though for emergencies, you will be referred elsewhere.

661 Quantum Rd NE V102, Rio RanchoWe had a wonderful experience with Paul! We had been looking for a program that had a positive reinforcement approach, and Paul's program was a perfect fit. We loved the idea of building a better relationship with our pet and avoiding harsh or negative consequences to get our dog to do what we needed. As we stuck to his program (5 minutes of assigned training 3 times a day, super doable!!), we saw results and continue to see them as we continue working with our dog. While we worked on various commands, our main focus was working on a strong recall response and reactivity to other dogs. I have had other opportunites to work with two other dogs in my life in training programs and have never been more impressed with what Good Buddy Dog Training offers. My dog has always been super sweet and happy but I can tell a difference in her behavior after training; she is even more sweet and confident! Thank you, Paul!
