Pet Grooming

Duke City Dog Spa and Lodge
2301 Yale Blvd SE Suite C6, AlbuquerqueI’ve known Ally a long time now and watched her build herself from the ground up. She’s an entrepreneur, an animal lover, a warrior, and best of all? Best animal and human mom. I take my babies to her because they’re spicy and she’s the ONLY one that can handle them. She has accommodated my crazy, chaotic life and helped me reschedule. She’s always had an open heart and open door. Albuquerque is better off with her in it and I’m so grateful she launched this journey. Will forever have my business. ❤️

I have since moved to a few different states and since moving I can genuinely say: I have not found another groomer as wonderful as Reigning Cats & Dogs. So far nobody has come close to the price or precision of this amazing groomer. I am sad not being able to take my girl here, as they always were patient and kind. If you have a dog or cat in need of a groom, you should ABSOLUTELY bring them here :)

She treated my babies and my home with care and respect. I can’t thank Menty and Tanya enough for their services. They put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my trip because I knew my pups were being treated with love.

ABQ Cat Grooming
2217 Lead Ave SE, AlbuquerqueWe brought my senior CKD girl, Queenie, to this location for a lion cut to address matting on her back legs and stomach after failing to handle it ourselves at home. We worried she would fight, resist, or become nervous beyond what a groomer could or would handle. Despite this being her first visit for grooming of any kind, Queenie did well and came home beautiful and mat-free! The owners are lovely professionals who clearly take their work seriously. She was finished in the exact time frame estimated (3 hrs), and the cost was very reasonable for the amount of time spent and delicate work performed. She got lots of love and compliments. Queenie is naked but feeling much better, and immediately went back to her snacks and treats once we got home. I highly recommend ABQ Cat Grooming for your speciality grooming needs.

Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital
240 Rio Bravo Blvd SE, AlbuquerqueRio Bravo Veterinary Hospital is a blessing to Abq! About 3 weeks ago my puppy had developed an ear infection in both ears. I had called around for price comparisons. Everyone was asking $102, $130 even $190 for the starting exam. That doesn't include the diagnosis or medication. Thankfully, the sister clinic of RBVH had referred me to Rio Bravo Veterinary Hospital. The starting exam was $50.24! I said let's do it! From there Dr. Hansen and Juan took very good care of my baby Thoth. Everyone there has been so nice and helpful. Thank you deeply from me and my baby Thoth ???.
I definitely recommend them over anyone else!

Eye Care for Animals - Albuquerque
8724 Alameda Park Dr NE # C, AlbuquerqueUPDATE-3 (May 2026): I credit Eye Care for Animals for saving my cat's eye where another Vet totally misdiagnosed Jack's problem. We go back every year for a check and so far, so good. I always feel like these folks know what they are about and do a thorough job of checking Jack and providing him with the right meds and advice. Jack has also quit drinking and smoking since we started there! Amazing. Both Jack and I highly recommend them!
UPDATE-2: These guys are the best. they really care about my cat and it shows. They also are applying their experience and lab results to examine Jack. So much better than other vets I have used in ABQ!
UPDATE-1: I wish I had come here sooner with my cat. My experience is that if your pet shows any eye issues, don't hesitate. I credit ECfA with saving my cars eye. These folks know what they are doing and are caring and reasonably priced as well. Love these guys. Recommend them highly

Albuquerque Cat Clinic
7007 Jefferson St NE # D-2, AlbuquerqueWanted to leave a review for the staff and especially Dr. Kiki. I brought my cat Brooks in when she started showing signs that something was neurologically wrong. She was walking like she was drunk. The staff there first of all was so sweet and compassionate with myself and Brooks. They sent off some bloodwork to do some testing but over the weekend my Brooks stopped walking and had a seizure. After letting Dr. Kiki know what was going on, she has gone out of her way to call and check on Brooks every single day and always kept me informed on different options, especially with my limited funds. This is the first vet I’ve been to where I feel like they actually care about my cat and aren’t trying to nickel and dime me every step of the way. Today, on a combination of meds from Dr. Kiki, my Brooks was able to walk over to me (with an unsteady gait still) and head butt me and purr. A couple days ago she couldn’t even lift her head up. We still have a long road ahead of us but I know I have a clinic that has my back if need be. Thanks guys

Pet Sitting & Training

Pet BnD ABQ
4401 Yale Blvd NE, AlbuquerqueI’ve been taking my dog to PetBnD for daycare for the past two weeks, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. Leaving your fur baby with someone else can be stressful, but I feel completely comfortable leaving my baby in their care because it’s obvious how much the staff genuinely love and care for the dogs. Everyone is always so kind, helpful, and welcoming.
One of my favorite things about PetBnD is the photo updates they send throughout the day. It gives me so much peace of mind to see my dog having fun, making friends, and enjoying himself while I’m away. Every time I pick him up, he’s completely tuckered out and ready for a long nap, which tells me he had an amazing day full of play and activity. The level of care, communication, and customer service they provide is unmatched.
PetBnD has earned my trust completely, and as long as I live in this city, it’s the only place I’ll ever take my dog for daycare. I absolutely love this place and will continue bringing my pup whenever he needs daycare. Highly recommend!

Sit Means Sit Dog Training Albuquerque
10408 2nd St NW, AlbuquerqueI can’t say enough wonderful things about Sit Means Sit. In short, they turned my traumatized and terrified rescue dog into the bestest boy ever! I had a lot of concerns about him and came to the conclusion I needed help. I literally had to drag him in to Sit Means Sit, poor guy was so scared. I believe I did the 10-day program to begin with and then he’s been in day care since. He is a totally different dog- happy, wagging, playing, and confident. I credit the staff for all of it. It would be hard to find a more dedicated, knowledgeable and awesome staff anywhere else!

Bernalillo County Animal Care and Resource Center
3001 2nd St SW, AlbuquerqueI saw a few dogs there when I went just to look. I fell in love with this beautiful black pitbull/mix. So, I actually adopted Khloe on June 24, 2025. She's afraid of a lot of stuff like my other rescue dog, PheeBee (chihuahua mix). But Khloe likes being inside, so she's fine. PheeBee, on the other hand, likes it outside.
The adoption process was really easy. I had gone in last week, but Khloe had to be fixed. So I waited a week (6/24/25) and brought her to her forever home. She's going to love living here. My Yorkipoo wants to play with her, but Khloes is not sure what to do. Time...
