The humans working there called me “so cute” at least 47 times, which is the correct amount. One employee even got down on the floor to speak with me at eye level, which I appreciated because standing is hard when your legs are approximately the size of mozzarella sticks.
The treat selection was excellent. I personally tested gravity by knocking several chew sticks off a shelf. Quality control matters.
There was also a German Shepherd there the size of a horse. I barked at him bravely from behind my dad’s ankles and won the confrontation psychologically.
Only complaint: I am apparently “not allowed” to lick the store's manager Wiskers.
Would return immediately. Already dragging my human back toward the door.

6300 San Mateo Blvd NE B, Albuquerquetoday i went to the pet store with my boss to get some fish for our office tank, we were browsing around the fishes when we asked the worker who was taking care of them to help us get some fish for our 75 gallon office tank. Alan helped us with that and gave us very helpful information about taking care of aquatic life and making sure our fish tank was successful and wasn't harmful towards the fish. he was just taking down the temperatures and water purity/ bacteria levels while he was helping and explained to us that pet co is extremely serious about the fishes heath and all of the conditions that could be easily missed while trying to start a new tank. when we went to PetSmart, it contaminated our fish our smaller 10 gal tank with ich. a common fish parasite that kills them. i asked Alan what they do about the fish that are sick. and he said that they wont even sell you the fish unless there completely heathy, intern he cares for the entire section of the tank that could be contaminated and brings then back to full heath before selling them. He gave us information about the tank that i didn't even know and i was doing weeks of research, it was extremely helpful to us. He also kept us laughing the entire time. It was an amazing experience for us all thanks to Alan. he diffidently deserves the praise and a raise. with over 30 years of experience in this field he defiantly deserves it and should be considered because he defiantly helped us out a lot. thanks for the amazing experience Alan!!! We will defiantly be seeing you again!!!!

Evie shared with me that she was booked up until August but if I could come quickly to her shop at that time, she would help me out. Within 30 minutes I had taken my little guy to her and he was already ready feeling much better and Evie had taken care of his sensitive area. Albuquerque Cat Clinic

I brought my cat Brooks in when she started showing signs that something was neurologically wrong. She was walking like she was drunk. The staff there first of all was so sweet and compassionate with myself and Brooks. They sent off some bloodwork to do some testing but over the weekend my Brooks stopped walking and had a seizure. After letting Dr. Kiki know what was going on, she has gone out of her way to call and check on Brooks every single day and always kept me informed on different options, especially with my limited funds. This is the first vet I’ve been to where I feel like they actually care about my cat and aren’t trying to nickel and dime me every step of the way. Today, on a combination of meds from Dr. Kiki, my Brooks was able to walk over to me (with an unsteady gait still) and head butt me and purr. A couple days ago she couldn’t even lift her head up. We still have a long road ahead of us but I know I have a clinic that has my back if need be. Thanks guys

8724 Alameda Park Drive Northeast # C, AlbuquerqueUPDATE-3 (May 2026): I credit Eye Care for Animals for saving my cat's eye where another Vet totally misdiagnosed Jack's problem. We go back every year for a check and so far, so good. I always feel like these folks know what they are about and do a thorough job of checking Jack and providing him with the right meds and advice. Jack has also quit drinking and smoking since we started there! Amazing. Both Jack and I highly recommend them!
UPDATE-2: These guys are the best. they really care about my cat and it shows. They also are applying their experience and lab results to examine Jack. So much better than other vets I have used in ABQ!
UPDATE-1: I wish I had come here sooner with my cat. My experience is that if your pet shows any eye issues, don't hesitate. I credit ECfA with saving my cars eye. These folks know what they are doing and are caring and reasonably priced as well. Love these guys. Recommend them highly

I've tried other training methods and nothing worked for her extreme reactivity to other dogs when she's on a leash. My girl is very smart, but very nervous. Sit Means Sit totally changed our relationship for the better. We did the day training plus, and today, for the first time in the four years that I have had her, my dog and I went on a completely calm, relaxed walk. She didn't freak out at other dogs or cats. And she didn't try to chase any birds. I didn't have to hang on to her for dear life. We just walked and took in the sights and sniffed, and had a great time. I can't say enough good about the progress I have seen in both of us; me in learning how to work with my girl, and her in her response to directions, decreased reactivity, and increased confidence. Thank you so much to the wonderful trainers and staff for what you've done for us!

The cuban... as a self proclaimed Cuban sandwich connoisseur, it was a good brewery bite, better than Key West but room for improvement, maybe a smoked gouda...?. Like that the menu wasn't all fried junk.
Overall amazing themed place. Family friendly place.
