“I couldn't tell what they sold from the outside but when I went and I saw a shea butter and other hair products and then they had food some fresh vegetables lots of green stuff I don't know what kind didn't get a chance to look at it all and they had canned goods and dry goods. I didn't recognize a lot of things so I have to come prepared next time I go. The one thing I didn't like is I felt like I could smell them moth balls.”

“Great store to have in the neighborhood. I usually get frozen foods here like veggie burgers. It's convenient to pick up nut milk, eggs, cheese and other things you may need. I usually add something new to my purchase each time because there are a lot of interesting things to try. I have bought medicinal herbal teas, saffron, no-sugar chocolate, mushroom miso soup among other unusual things. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to the local healthfood co-op.”
“You can get all your West Indies Grocery. The Chicken,Beef, Vegetable and Spinach Patty's are always freshly cooked. The Owner's have a big heart for the people in the Community, very nice. Represent the Culture properly.”
“I love Cardonas. I always stop in when I'm near albany or latham locations. They have great meatballs and pene ala vodka. Their desserts and salads are wonderful as well. I love the fresh bakery loaf of bread.
This place is a staple! You can't go wrong!”
“BEST CONVENIENT STORE EVER WITH THE CHEAPEST PRICES!! Amazing subs/sandwiches…. And I’m very picky. Not a lot of toppings but you won’t need them. The most kind people that work there also. I WISH THEY WERE OPEN 24/7!!!”
“The only reason it got four stars was because the sweet African bread I bought had mold on the bottom and was unusable and not noticeable until I got home. The only suggestion I would have is that bread products are inspected daily for mold”

Am happy with the quality of items picked out.I would give a 5, but they didn't have everything. However, I was ok with that and understand. I would use this service again in the future. Thank you.”

“So the review before mine, saying that the 'dark haired Spanish girl' hasn't been there and it's been a mess since, I do agree that she worked very diligently and is very good at keeping a wild and crazy store going. I hope she is doing well because she has helped me many times. One time, years ago my wallet fell out of my pocket in the store and she put it in the safe in case I came back for it. I had just cashed a check and had several hundred dollars of cash in it. I was very grateful because I wouldn't have even blamed anyone for taking it or the wallet being there with the cash gone. But everything was still there. Now that's a good employee. There was a man in there too who was aware of the situation and I really was full of respect and gratitude, I appreciate knowing that good people like them are in our communities. When I drive by at9-10pm on my way home from work, if the lights are still on in there I picture them in there doing their best to get the store closed and ready for the morning shifts.
There's an older woman in the store that I don't particularly enjoy because I find her to be loud, boisterous and smells like stale smoke and clipped cigarettes. She will announce loudly that she can't get anything done and is not even supposed to be on register. Or that she didn't take a break and should have left hours ago... If her time management is out of control like that, it makes me think that she should adhere to the work she is assigned and not just fumble around assigning blame and making everyone else stress out over it. If she's not getting the work done then hmmm maybe, just maybe? They might hire another person or flex someone else in to give the store some reprieve. I'm sure she's a good worker in other regards. She doesn't make me feel unwelcomed or anything like other customers have reported, she's just stressed and frazzled. It's a clear indication that she needs help in there. I find it's unfair to compare the employees to one another. They are totally different people with different idiosyncrasies.
There is a newer female employee in the store lately who is fast, efficient, detail oriented and really has combed through the aisles to remove expired products and organize the mess so the items are actually in the correct spots. A lot of times the store can't keep track of the inventory if they have a popular product that is behind an unpopular one. They won't get more of an item that has been displaced and still in the store or stolen. If they sell something then that can be replenished. I've noticed some products that they are supposed to carry but never have in stock are starting to be in stock again in the last couple of months which I am very grateful for. It's a difficult job. Please respect the workers in there even if you're at odds with them or having negative interactions.
I hope people realize that their job is tiresome and not always rewarding. They are usually understaffed but mostly willing to help. They do put the customer needs ahead of their own so be sure to thank them and remember that they are doing their job.”

“This was my first time here. The staff are friendly. The produce is the best I have found in the area so far as far as traditional grocery stores go. Will come back again.
Edit: after coming back here I do find their bread and bagel options lacking, unless you're willing to spend for the premium options they have. Also, some deli meats are tastier than others.”
“The most professional and knowledgeable pharmacy I have ever been a customer of. Kris is a hidden gem of a pharmacist and I am so glad to have switched over to this pharmacy from one of the big national chains that was unreliable. Is it a smaller pharmacy? Yes. Does that mean at peak times you might have to wait for a person or two in front of you? Yes. That’s not the staff’s fault. The staff here more than makes up for it with their quality work and professional approach. They have the resources of the large national chains with a small town feel. It’s the best part of this Price Chopper location!”

“I went to enter the store, which had an open side, only to see a chain across the gated entrance. Apparently, they're not letting anyone enter other than the folks who work or just hang out there.A man quickly approached and asked what I needed. He went and got it while I stood at the gate, took my credit card, and gave me my items.A different way of doing business but it worked.”

“Love this store and their friendly staff. Gets a little crowded at times but it's a convenient store so that is to be expected. Soda, beer, lottery etc can be found their along with amazing beef patties and subs. I'm at this store daily and love it. As far as convenient stores go there are much nicer ones in my opinion but nicer doesn't always mean better. Great store for our community!”
“Great selection of produce (lots of organic options), bulk foods, interesting dairy and plant-based items (cheeses, creamers, etc.), and very nice butcher shop. Run mostly by volunteers I think.”
