The Renaissance Albany Hotel is a historic building with a great renovation, blending historic and bold modern touches. It is in a good location, closely located to the Capitol building and City Hall, and very well located for conventions, work, or tourists. The hotel is extremely clean, spacious, and filled with decor, with super cool and large rooms that have great upkeep. There is a great bar and restaurant on site. Staff are frequently described as fantastic, exceptional, helpful, professional, and kind. Some guests note the staff can be indifferent and not welcoming. The hotel has paid parking connected to it, though signage could be better. Rooms are relatively quiet, though some street noise is possible. Nearby, there is not a huge choice of restaurants, but a couple of gems and great restaurants are close by.

Have stayed here for fun in Albany. Will be here next week for work. The staff is fantastic, rooms are super cool, and there is a great bar.
