“I hate to brag about this place as I want to keep this as our hidden gem! Theresa the manager knows what she is doing! She cares about her customers and the hotel. Made us feel like family, always greeting me by name in every encounter we had and even just to say hi. She wasn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and clean rooms or breakfast tables. I have never seen a manager do that. Property is clean and we felt safe. She was so accommodating. I have to say though that Theresa made our stay 5/5.”

“The price is good with a Hayat membership, the rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, and it is 30 minutes away from the waterfalls by car. Free parking and electric car charging are available, but! Breakfast is the worst I have ever had! Canned cheese and jam, paper plates, and artificial eggs that are not fresh. Breakfast is important! Hotels need to know this. Room cleaning was not good. Hair in the bathroom and bedding were not arranged well. There is no room service in the hotel ?”

“I was quite pleased with this property. My understanding is that the property is not a new build, but it obviously has been completely renovated. I’ve been to properties where “renovations” amounted to not much more than a slopped on coat of paint and old nasty carpet replaced with cheap vinyl flooring. That is not the case here. Whoever owns/manages this property really cares about the product they want to provide. Linens & towels were of good quality and very clean and white. Staff were all very nice and although we had other plans for breakfast, they did offer a very nice breakfast that I believe we would have enjoyed as well. One word of caution concerns the bed offering. A room that offers two double beds is truly DOUBLE beds, not queen. I wrongly assumed that they might actually be queens which were being called double. In my opinion, a double is perfectly fine for one adult, but unless you really like to snuggle with your bed mate, a double is too close for comfort. For my husband and I, who normally share a king bed, this was not ideal. Not the hotel’s fault whatsoever as they were perfectly clear that the room contained 2 double beds. Other than choosing a differently appointed room, we would definitely stay here again.”

“Went over to New York for some shopping with daughter and friends we stayed at Home2 Hilton and I was greeted so nicely by Anthony we asked to see the rooms so Sally took us to see a couple, they were amazing!! There was a bit of trouble trying to book a room that’s why I gave a 4 star because it took just over an hour to book but we did want joining rooms and for some reason it was not happening but eventually Anthony and Sally managed to get us joining rooms, we did want two queen beds in each room but one had a king which was ok I didn’t mind sharing with my daughter, then in the morning Sally greeted us with a friendly hello at the continental breakfast and good advice on restaurants in the area. Beds were comfy and rooms were huge and clean you definitely get what you pay for plus the hotel was close to all the shopping we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again. Prices are a bit steep but for one night not a problem, now I only say steep because after converting $147 to Canadian we paid $193 for one night, glad we got the senior discount which took about $20 off. Thank you Anthony and SallyRooms: Clean and comfortable beds, could not believe how big the rooms were with a pull out bed in couch but never pulled the bed outNearby activities: Close to stores to shop and a few restaurants, Tim Hortons right across the street which is always convenientSafety: I didn’t feel in danger at any time and I believe someone was at the desk but I didn't go to lobby at night but during the day it seemed good, people who stayed were quiet and it was good to know there were cameras and parking was well litWalkability: Close to Tim Hortons across the road”

“Shout out to Stephanie behind the counter! A very kind and considerate ES employee whose kindness was seriously a welcomed relief. Stephanie, you’re awesome!Beyond the windows not able to stay opened, every aspect of the room and our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Finally, not having to pay for our service dog, washer & dryer on site, in room kitchenette, (5ft) refrigerator, stove, sink and microwave. The bed did not feel like you were sleeping on a wood pallet! Always a plus!Have a wonderful (Extended) stay! We did!>> On a side note. After reading other reviews. I have to speak up!You get a kitchenette while staying here. You want pots, pans, dishes and silverware included? Would you like a steak and potatoes with that? Come on! Be serious!I see complaints about people smoking outside or that a window screen is broken!! Come on!!It sounds as if just a few people are voicing a very misconstrued conception about staying here! No, it’s not perfect but you are safe and warm! (Close the window and turn on the a/c if there is a problem)Stop being so picky about every single thing You have to do as an Adult away from home- for a minuet. Although your “feeling” may have gotten hurt staying in a big boy/girl hotel, I promise when you get older you will understand that faults are usual not optional in a grown world!- Red”

“Bring ear plugs lol the heater/AC machine is indeed loud. We had a perfectly OK night at this hotel, which seems to get a lot of traffic and yes some of the comments about cleanness are true (the carpets in the hall could use a vacuum because there is a lot of activity there but to keep it squeaky clean you’d have to have someone vacuum around the clock and I prefer my hall a little messy but mostly quiet) but a lot of comments here are way too harsh. The bathroom and bed were perfectly clean and yes the furniture is a bit outdated but I came here to enjoy life outside of the hotel room so it didn’t matter to me. It had the best rate in the area and I needed a place to sleep and a brand I trust so my expectations were met in that sense. What exceeded my expectations was the customer service. The staff members werelovely to deal with and definitely helpful with some of my weird requests. Sorry if I used the chat function too much lol but you were all great.”
