“I normally go to Home Depot, and never get the service I crave, so I went to this local hardware store close to where I live, and 3 times so far I've had the best experiences with Max and Joey, Manny. All 3 of these guys are knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Kindness is such a rare commodity these days, and rarer in the Northeast. Ugh. Anyway, that really goes a long way when it comes to the in-store experience. This is my preferred hardware store now. Thanks for your help and guidance. And thanks for allowing me to use your sink to clean my hands. You guys are great.”

“As a female who is handier than her husband and always seems to be the one in charge of projects, I've had my share of sexist treatment in MANY hardware stores--big box and mom and pop. This place is THE BEST. It's a small place and they may not have everything you always need, but this should be your first stop. You'd be surprised what they have in the store. Staff is always kind, extremely helpful, and most importantly to me, they treat women with respect and equality. I've never made a review on here but this business definitely warrants one. They have a great supply house and if they don't have what you are looking for, they can almost always get it the next day. Prices are also very reasonable. “We ordered custom cabinet grilles/mesh from Katonah (we live in Atlanta). They are just one of a couple distributors stateside for imported premium custom metal grilles. These were beatiful and fit as expected. We did have a tricky problem I think related to the ultimate sealant coat on the grilles from the factory. After troubleshooting a bit Katonah arranged an entire new set made and delivered which was totally perfect. Refreshing to see a company take responsibility and make it right for such an expensive custom order. No hesitation buying from Katonah again!”

Every time we go it's clean, employees approach us to help us, people are friendly, and they have what we need. Today I did a return that was entirely hassle-free. The last time my husband and I went an employee spent 15 minutes with us helping us find the right-sized screw for a project.
