“Neighborhood staple for many years. My father use to stop here daily as he owned a 5 family building around the corner over a decade ago. While we no longer live in the area sometimes he makes pit stops there thinking he has to buy something then forgets what. But if there’s something you need, you can always get it here. The staff here are very patient with him. While many businesses have came and went since I grew up here in the 90s and him since the 50s, it’s nice to know this place has been around for over 100 years and a fixture for everyone’s hardware needs. Use to enjoy seeing Gary while walking to work each morning being reminded how many days left ‘till baseball. Aton was a friendly fella as well who did some work at the commercial building. Didn’t get the names of the two gentlemen today, but they are top notch too!”
