“To beat the Memorial Day rush, I came here on a Friday afternoon to order some steaks, and thank goodness I did! It was nice and empty, but the inventory was stocked with a great selection of meats.Also, the staff told me that they were going to be closed on Sunday so I could only imagine how busy it was going to be on a Saturday. Crisis averted.The two NY strips I ordered looked beautiful!! I can't wait to season them.Overall, fantastic and friendly service. I'll definitely return.”

“I ordered through the app TooGoodToGo, which made this an experience that I wasn't sure how would end. I am happy to say that it was a great experience. I ordered two platters with the app and the amount of food I was given and the quality of the food I was given exceeded my expectations.The chicken platter was rice and chicken and spinach lemon dish. It was delicious . The meat dish that I had was pasta and eggplant dish, with a surprise of stuffed lamb intestines . I could not eat everything at once and it's lasted me three days. The server is a typical surly character but I never expect to get friendly customer service in a place that is predominantly served by one particular culture. Especially in but the young women that was serving in the grocery section was lovely , respectful and efficient. I will definitely go there again. Was overall an enjoyable experience.The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the surly character made me feel quite uncomfortable as a female.”

“They were so generous and allowed sampling of anything possible. I ended up getting the goose/pork Pate (good but I didn't like the packaging), Istrian vrat (pork), and manouri cheese (so good, a nice snacking cheese). They did charge me 9.99 a pound for the cheese when it said 7.99, so I would check for prices. I tried their dried beef and really liked it so might go for that next time.”
