βIt's amazing that it's small and has everything. The other day I needed a light bulb that burned out and they had it. Another time I went to buy an ingredient I needed to make a cake and they had it. Always beautiful, clean and organized. Congratulations everyone!β

βAl Dar Halal Market is a great spot for fresh, high-quality arabica and halal products. Verity and selection is excellent, everything is well organized, and the prices are very reasonable. The store is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A reliable place to shop for authentic Middle Eastern groceries and halal essentials!β
βSuch a great local convenience store. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Having them nearby has been such a life saver numerous times for when itβs late in the evening and you absolutely need some random item.β

βI mean if you havenβt been to this grocery in Queens, you are missing out. You canβt go wrong with anything on this Deli. Breakfast itβs all great; even post party from the city! you can get anything, make sure you try the TCS on a roll or Turkey Supreme.

βI love this store - the owner and all of the employees are super nice. This is the best place to go for an Arizona (or other drinks since they have a large variety of choices) or lottery tickets!β
βAlways open when I need them, which is in the early early am. Nice guys and you can get a fresh cold deli sandwich anytime, hot sandwiches during typical hours. They have a pretty good selection of beer and fancy-ish non-alcoholic drinks in the cooler.iβ
βLove this store. I usually get there salted pistachios that they have in the bin, vegetables, fruits and other goodies. I love that they are open 24 hours and the prices are amazing. Way cheaper than a supermarket (except for the eggs), other than that they have great deals.β

βI travel all the way from the Bronx just for Tonys Sandwiches??makes me feel at home, great sandwiches always made just right, respectful and patient??β??β
βLovely neighborhood market in Astoria. The produce covered all the usual fruits and vegetables, seemed fresh, and was a good price. I've personally been hunting for certain whole spices in NYC for a couple weeks, and I finally got cardamom pods, all spice, and star anise! It was a good price compared to other specialty groceries I've visited in Manhattan. I also got some cool goodies like pomegranate molasses. There is a huge selection of olive oil, olives, and a halal butcher in the back. The grocery store was clean inside and smelled deliciously of salted olives and other spices. The line moved a bit slowly, but the staff were friendly and helpful if you ask them to help you check prices (which aren't always posted clearly or labeled)β
βThis guy is an angel! He knows everybody in the neighborhood is always so happy and so honest ! I forgot my iphone at his store at his store and HE KEPT IT FOR ME!!! I love him! Highly recommended store. also very cheap and affordable food ! Freshβ

βin order to really appreciate Lidl you need to have visited ALDI a few times. The prices are about the same but theres lots more selection at Lidl. Not as insane either. There are times where they're out of some staples though. Don't go at the end of the day.β
βThis is such a great market but they get weird during the cup because they wanna make money. It's a 5-star location because of how open and welcome it seems, until the games start. Then they put walls and board up the place to eat because everyone wants to watch the game, but not everyone is allowed to and that gives a very weird energy that doesn't match the good side of Brazil, but more the ugly, conservative side.
That aside, the products are all great and legitimate, the food is hyper regional and authentic and I would gladly go anytime they're not putting up walls and deciding who gets to watch the game
Edit: After being updated to the situation of when I came by, I have adjusted to a 5 star rating. Thank you for updating and consistenly being a part of the community.
I would also like to apologize for my attitude and will move forward with this situation as a learning lesson for myself.β
