“I really like Nirja. She brings dignity to a store that many of us in the neighborhood depend on, and she doesn’t know me and my kids, but we always appreciate her familiar face. She isn’t the only person working at Family Dollar who we feel this way about and i can’t remember everyone’s name right now, but hopefully Family Dollar knows who, of their employees, are those who project a professional environment, set a good example for children, and makes shoppers feel welcome. Hope that she is rewarded and appreciated by “the boss” every day!”

“Home Goods is perfect for fall decor, Halloween decorating in particular.
You can find anything you need from witches who bewitch to cookware that will have you cooking up savory fall fare.
I found this decorative sign there which I paired with a candle and pumpkin for a cozy fall vignette for my bookcase.”
“Service is awesome and the place is very neat amd organized. However it is veeeery small and has almost no notable selection for anything you'd be looking for. Very minimal.”
“For this store to still remain with a wide variety of clothing, appliances, such a diverse selection of shopping needs during & post Pandemic, I have to salute and thank all parties involved for your arduous Work!!! I visited many Khol's from in the area & all the way to Florida and none, unequivocally compares to Khol's of Newburgh N.Y. It's been traumatic and we're not out of the woods completely but thank you for your continued efforts & service to provide a pleasant shopping experience for all!!!

“The store has a decent selection and is usually clean and well organized, however the line for checkout is almost always ridiculously long. I recommend going during non peak hours if at all possible.”

“I love that you can do Amazon returns, and get the coupons to shop. My kids grow like weeds, so it's great to have a little savings. I organize my school shopping around my Amazon returns too. And the service is always really good. I do sometimes think items are Very overpriced, unless you have a coupon or Kohls cash.”
“The employee Nadia was especially helpful to me as I was shopping for a men's suit. As I was paying for the suit and tie Nadia took the time to treat me as a valued Macy's customer by explaining to me the Stars and Loyalty programs so that I could save money on my future purchases and thereby demonstrating that Macy's values each customer and is willing to work hard to earn each customer's repeat business. With care she put my suit in a garment bag and made sure to tie the bottom of the garment bag so that my suit did not slip off the hanger and fall onto the parking lot. Nadia was very professional and friendly.”

“I use the scan &go option every time but no one is ever at the scan &go/spark members checkout area to help people understand we are not skipping them. Customers always give me a hard time and I don’t think I should have to stop and explain the process to them. Someone should be there letting them know this is for scan & go/spark members to check out only as the huge sign says but no one bothers to read. It’s very uncomfortable to have to explain I’m not skipping you etc.. so Yes please have an associate present at all times and have them explain it.”
“This store has been a local treasure for as long as I can remember. I remember the days of Jerrick Drugs and absolutely love how this store has evolved over the past 35+ years. I am a teacher in the Newark Public School District. When I visit my family in the area I always stop by for the very affordable school supplies. People in Newark ask me if I go to the Ticongaroga Factory to get the very cool special black Ticonderoga pencils. This is also my go to place for cheap consumable dry erase markers and folders. This store has much more to offer than just school supplies. Think of them like a 5 and 10 (dollar store) on steroids. Check them out!”

“I come shopping here quite frequently. I specially their last act, thus is where you will find their markdowns. Done are to be left behind and other times there is a success. They are starting to come out with the spring fashion items. Snd of course it s depends on your style. It's just fun to go shopping. Very therapeutic”

“Well stocked neat and clean store. Not enough cashiers at the registers. Yes they do have ample self check out. Unfortunately when you are doing a major Target run the line for the one and only Human Cashier can be lengthy. I have seen customers abandon their cart and leave the store. This lack of customer service is the usual topic of conversation amongst the patrons on line.”
“Clean floors, well stocked. Lacking a little bit with some collectibles merchandise. I always look for Marvel Legends action figures and it's usually empty.”
“Family Dollar is the pride of Newburgh. It provides the community from miles around the assorted essentials, including the merchandise, clothing, electronics, stationary supplies, etc. It's why I come there once a week to get the things I need.”

“I went into the nicest store today it was a month day no1 likes mondays but I was met with a warm "how are you" she was very sweet and did the business justice I will be returning for my rooster shirt!
