“This store has been a local treasure for as long as I can remember. I remember the days of Jerrick Drugs and absolutely love how this store has evolved over the past 35+ years. I am a teacher in the Newark Public School District. When I visit my family in the area I always stop by for the very affordable school supplies. People in Newark ask me if I go to the Ticongaroga Factory to get the very cool special black Ticonderoga pencils. This is also my go to place for cheap consumable dry erase markers and folders. This store has much more to offer than just school supplies. Think of them like a 5 and 10 (dollar store) on steroids. Check them out!”

“I use the scan &go option every time but no one is ever at the scan &go/spark members checkout area to help people understand we are not skipping them. Customers always give me a hard time and I don’t think I should have to stop and explain the process to them. Someone should be there letting them know this is for scan & go/spark members to check out only as the huge sign says but no one bothers to read. It’s very uncomfortable to have to explain I’m not skipping you etc.. so Yes please have an associate present at all times and have them explain it.”

“Shopping at Sam's is fine and the pizza and hot dog deals cannot be beat for a cheap lunch. However if you're trying to watch what you eat, there's really nothing much to have...until now. Inside by where the meats are they have sushi rolls that look great. I didn't try it this time but they had shrimp ceviche next to it. It was great. Lots of shrimp in a fresh salsa with a little kick and some lime wedges to squeeze over the top. A carb-less meal in a sea of fast food. Nice!”
