You can buy a good amount for $40 .”

My very favorite place to be, I look forward to my yearly family gatherings here on Davis Park, it’s just a slice of paradise. Just $20.00 round trip ferry ride from patchogue and your here. The store has everything you need for a day visit and many staple items if you are renting a house for a a couple of days.”

    “Best market in the LGBT villages. Sure, prices are high so it makes sense, if you can, to bring non- perishable provisions. But if you don’t want to subsist on Kraft Mac & Cheese and Dinty Moore canned beef stew, then Pines Pantry is a treat. Though not as comprehensive as a mainline supermarket quality is usually very good and they feature a bakery with tasty croissants. It was worth walking with the gorilla wagon (inflatable moon buggy wheels recommended for the few open sand stretches) from our cabin near Sailors Haven and through Cherry Grove and no-man’s land to the Pines. Prices at the market in Cherry Grove are a bit lower but they don’t usually have the selection that Pines Pantry has.”

    “Outside is a bit quaint, but inside is a delightful mom & pop store! The owners are very friendly. They’re originally from Guangxi and Peru. Similar to their interesting backgrounds, the inventory of goods are also quite fascinating. Grabbed some of my favorite 八宝粥 and other Chinese snacks and such. But they also had a savory tropical cooking sauce I’ve never seen before. So picked that up too. Price-wise, about the same as Oriental groceries. They’re more of a frozen goods/dried goods store than a fresh produce store, so keep that in mind before coming. Also had a very extensive non-alcoholic + alcoholic drinks section. If you like 王老吉, they’ve got the cans and the 2Ls :)”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

  • Loblaw Plans to Open 70 New Stores and Spend $2.4 Billion in 2026

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
