“My stay at la Quinta islip was extremely perfect the staff was more then accommodating the night time guy was so helpful making sure my tv worked even switching my room make sure I had a working TV the morning crew was so pleasant and so helpful I would recommend this place to anyone and yes they have hot water one night stay took a hot shower the night I checked in and the next morning the breakfast was great coffee on tap at anytime wish I could give 10 stars I am extremely pleased with my stay I would definitely stay there again.”

“My husband and I spent a week here in September. We had a wonderful experience. The room was a good size and had been recently renovated and decorated. There was plenty of space and the king bed was very comfortable.The staff were very caring and easy to speak with. We even got phone calls to be sure we were not lacking anything.I will surely stay here the next time I visit my friend in the area.”

“I booked this hotel very last minute for a getaway with my two boys and it was absolutely spectacular. We had never been to Fire Island before, and the staff at The Palms ensured we had the most wonderful stay. They had warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival, which made us feel so welcomed. Our room was the perfect location with a playground across the way with beautiful views. To boot, the hotel provides bikes and has a private beach on the bay with toys and kayaks. We will most definitely be back!! Huge thanks to the everyone at the hotel for making our little getaway super special. “For years I had hear about the white looking castle building on cherry grove, The Belvedere Guest House, (men only). So I book for one night only, just to test the waters, well....I believe I should have book for at least three days. The place have a welcome spirit the minute you walk in. A friendly staff await at you (Jason Justin, Miguelito Sunny and rest) thank you guys. The patrons are handsome men of all ages having a good time all day. the place is clean 24 o 7.My favorite spot for my sun bath was the upper deck. I planning to visit again.Nearby activities: Bay view and sunset it amazing, walking distance to beach is only 8 min. and 10 min to a list off shopping store, restaurant, bars and night club.”

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay.One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent location. Situated right in the center of town, within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and the beach. Whether I was in the mood for a quick bite or a leisurely shopping spree, everything I needed was conveniently close by.Upon entering my room, I was pleased to find a clean and well-maintained space. The housekeeping staff did an exceptional job in ensuring that the room was spotless and comfortable.The hotel also offered a range of amenities that enhanced my stay. Free beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and free use of bikes are a definite added bonus.Throughout my stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. “Cozy, quiet, clean with great free breakfast buffet. My only real complaint is there’s nothing interesting in the immediate vicinity. Which is obviously not the hotel’s fault but it makes it kind of boring at times.

Nearby activities: There’s a petrol station nearby!

Walkability: It’s easy to walk around the facility I think you’ll find the ground is quite suitable for stepping on.

Food and drinks: Excellent breakfast buffet, surprisingly robust selection in snack shop.”

“This is a very clean and nice hotel. There was a welcome package with goodies and extra gift miles, which was a nice touch. The complementary breakfast is a bonus, but parking price is a bit odd given that there are plenty of free lots nearby. There is not much to do nearby, but it is a convenient stay for a visit to central LI.”

“Went with 2 toddlers so we chose this location mostly for food and breakfast. Pool hours are basically all day AND night. Breakfast options were great to get the job done, and rooms were clean.”

“Stayed here for a short stay, bed was very comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice. I tried to take a hot bath because it was SO cold out for me coming from Florida but the drain stopper didn’t work at all. The only thing that was kind of annoying was the wifi. I did the whole login thing and everything and it just did not connect at all. So if you were trying to work from your room it probably won’t work.”

“I love staying here whenever I want to stay the night on Fire Island. Jeff is an absolute pleasure and more than accommodating. The room is cute and always clean and the price is reasonable for the island. Also it's in prime area so whats not to love about that? I will be returning ! The negative reviews here make me smile at how much people complain :)”

“FIBH was so convenient staff picks up your baggage from ferry and will hold so you can enjoy amenities pool, beach , bar etc until room is ready and the same the day u check out also !Jeanie , Alexa and Bellmen Jose and Edwin made our trip stress free and felt all the staff went out of their way for us !Rooms and pool were clean and updated see you next summer!”

“Well run hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Especially those on the front desk in contrast to what other reviewers have said. For us visiting from the UK nothing has been too much trouble. Breakfast is convenient and great value. Only issue for us is the hotel allows pets so with the recycled air through the AC system even those in pet free rooms can be affected if they have allergies. Also hotel needs to sort out a deal with Disney as 11/50 TV channels are unavailable currently.

Rooms: Rooms are spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds if decor is a bit drab. Nice big screen TVs.”

“Very big, comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent. My only real complaint is that it is impossible to take a shower and not get the floor wet which wouldn't be a big deal but the maid never made up our room for the 5 days we were there.”

“I was respectfully greeded when I approached to reserve a room. The environment was very calm and clean. The plants that surrounded me as I was conversating with the employee to reserve my room....... were all wonderfully "real" and watered to a healthy perfection. When I opened the door to my room...... I was once again very pleased...... because everything was to the standards and clean. The carpet was vacuumed and clean and the bed was neatly prepped with clean covers (also checked the sheets because why not) and...... once again pleasingly clean with a pleasant fragrance of cleanliness. Thank you. For a truly comfortable, peaceful and affordable stay. I was facing a very challenging presentation the next day and I am actually being honest and thankful for my stay at the MacArthur inn...... I am a hard working mother who has three wonderful children and my job unfortunately requires me to travel and sometimes on my own dime and I genuinely always wish there would be a genuine, honest and clean, affordable stay inn's and this was exactly what I imagine. “Stayed here for a wedding. Had an overall good experience and service was great. Akua made us feel welcome from the start with her friendly and wonderful personality. Room was nice and hot water was uninterrupted. After leaving, I realized I had left a dress in the room. Security, the front desk, and housekeeping all worked together to track down my dress and arrange to have it sent to me. They were all very pleasant through the process and wouldn’t you know it, Akua made the final touches to the process to ensure I’d get my package delivered. Thank you to Akua and all the wonderful staff at Jake’s 58!”
