“My husband and I recently enjoyed spending a few days in Canandaigua. We stayed at the 1795 Acorn Inn Bed and Breakfast. Sheryl was wonderful and welcoming. Everything from our beautiful and comfortable room to the absolutely delicious, gourmet breakfasts were above and beyond our expectations. We'll definitely be back!

“We had a great experience here this past week. Aug 2025 Our hosts were very sweet and spot on. The rooms were very very clean. It def shows that the owners care very much about their business. Located right down road from all the businesses. Great location!!!! Coffee was on every morning, yes!!!! We look forward to staying with them again. Thank you for our get away! “The Bella in general is a really cute place. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. And it was immaculate ! We had the economy room. Only one side of the bed is accessible, so one person has to move to let the other out. The bathroom is in the corridor, which we didn’t know until the day before arrival when the host called us.
We have stayed all over the world, and so do have places to compare to.
We would recommend it, but you have to be able to overlook the small inconveniences. ?”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Finger Lakes for the first time for a business retreat, and I truly enjoyed my stay at The Lake House. From the time I was greeted by an army of valets at the door - to the personalized service for me to be able to check in early after a short wait for housekeeping. My room in the North Cottage was perfect for peace away from the busier parts of the hotel, yet close enough to stroll to the pool and bars very quickly. We had a personalized wine dinner, hosted by the Sommelier on sight and Event/Pastry head chefs - very well done, presented professionally to a difficult crowd - food that night was so good (Duck Wellington, Oysters w/ Cucumber Pearls, amazing salad with candied pork belly and poached pears over a wedge w/ vinaigrette, and steak!!! The ladies who were the servers on the event staff deserve special recognition for their personalized service both nights. I cannot express how good they are at what they do! Thank you all again for a wonderful stay! Looking forward to my next trip up.”

“Great location to all amenities. Check in was easy, personell was polite and friendly. The room was cleaned well (could smell the cleaners) and well stocked with shower and bathroom supplies. Grounds we clean and welcoming and well lit. AC worked excellent. The only issue i had was the strange food smell in the hallway otherwise it was great room for the price.”
