“This was an AMAZING place to stay. The home was very elegant, like from a classical movie. Every detail was thought out with beautiful presentation. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they made us feel at home. The grounds are well maintained and easy to walk around, with a beautiful pond in the back. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and peaceful, so easy to relax here. And the breakfast were INCREDIBLE!! Highly recommended!!!!!”
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Finger Lakes for the first time for a business retreat, and I truly enjoyed my stay at The Lake House. From the time I was greeted by an army of valets at the door - to the personalized service for me to be able to check in early after a short wait for housekeeping. My room in the North Cottage was perfect for peace away from the busier parts of the hotel, yet close enough to stroll to the pool and bars very quickly. We had a personalized wine dinner, hosted by the Sommelier on sight and Event/Pastry head chefs - very well done, presented professionally to a difficult crowd - food that night was so good (Duck Wellington, Oysters w/ Cucumber Pearls, amazing salad with candied pork belly and poached pears over a wedge w/ vinaigrette, and steak!!! The ladies who were the servers on the event staff deserve special recognition for their personalized service both nights. I cannot express how good they are at what they do! Thank you all again for a wonderful stay! Looking forward to my next trip up.”

“Stayed at the Acorn Inn when in town for a Finger Lakes getaway and a concert at CMAC. It's a great choice that deserves it's strong reputation. The Inn is a very well kept property in a quiet area 15 minutes southwest of downtown Canandiagua. Innkeeper Sheryl was very helpful and gracious, with great knowledge of the area. Breakfast was an interesting, delicious meal every morning. We stayed in the Barn Suite, which was spacious, well appointed, and extra quiet. Highly recommended!”
