We were not ready for the mattress at that time. Finally, we went back yesterday, purchased a tempopedic mattress with Sofia Once again she went over the mattress features, etc with patience and interest in us. “I walked into the Carle Place, NY location and was greeted by Josh Kaplan. He was very kind, friendly and listened to what I was looking for. I explained to him the type of sofa I was looking for, and he immediately knew what would fit my space and what I needed. Eventually I ended up deciding on a sectional from the ModMax collection. This was truly perfect for my situation as I live in an apartment and needed small pieces to fit through my door. Josh was super friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the process. “This review is for the young man , Eric who works there. He is the best. We needed a love seat to fit into a small space and found what we liked on our own after walking across the entire store . Each sales person approached us but we politely declined and kept walking around so we could select ourselves. After finding the right one, the closest sales lady ( Kathie, I believe) asked if we found anything and we asked her to write it up . When we asked about delivery vs pick up she told us it depends on where we live given the fixed truck route. She did not know and said that she had to call a back office to find out. There was a young man there who had actually helped us make our decision to buy based on the quality and newness of the product . His product knowledge was very good. He showed us how it worked and showed is the features. We met him because the sales lady asked him for an extension cord . You see, we wanted the double recliner and it needed to be plugged in so we could try it out. It was during this time when we needed a salesperson but Kathie was far away . We asked tons of questions of Eric and one of them was , “Do you deliver?” Yes he said 140$ to our area on Thursdays but being as we were there on Wednesday he said it would be delivered on Thursday next week. We would have liked it sooner so we told him we’d call somebody to come pick it up. However we had to wait a few hours to know if we could set it up with our friends. Anyway, as we went looking for Kathie she asked if we’d found anything and we said yes but wanted it this week If possible, and she was very nice about to explain the truck schedule when a man who seemed to be her boss stood next to her and jumped into the discussion saying it all depends on the day of the truck but not guaranteed that they can deliver and maybe this and maybe that. He seemed uninformed to me. I was looking for an answer when I looked to Eric for an answer he said, you wont get a delivery this week the truck is full so next week for sure. I commented to this man who was interjecting without even announcing himself and I said, now thats an answer and the guy says, “oh, wow. “ first he doesn’t have answers and then he gets offended. Anyway The place has very good bargains and good products and only ask for eric. When we went back there after a few hours to pay, eric sold us the matching single recliner in leather. Well done. Honest snd straight to the point. Thank you !”
