“While I've seen Sweet Tree Farm meets in a few places around Upstate NY, I bought their beef short ribs at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market. The ribs were great! Plenty of meat on them and topped with a nice layer of fat which caramelized nicely; I first seared the short ribs before cooking them in a slow cooker. As stated on its website, Sweet Tree Farm is committed to sustainable farming, does not use growth hormones, nor do they routinely use antibiotics. Their beef is 100% grass-fed and finished. If the quality and flavor of their short ribs are any indication of their other products, they're definitely doing something right!”
