“I called 11 different places from Averill Park to Pittsfield and nobody could get me in for atleast a week to include Chuck Scott. Once I explained that it was my only vehicle the extremely nice lady on the phone, think her name was Sherry, found out they had a cancelation and told me to come now. I was only there for about 3 hours and the truck was fixed and ready! AND came in under the price I was expecting. I am so grateful to you guys! This is now my new mechanic! “One time my windshield wipers didn't work, I called on a saturday and left a message asking their availability, they ended up calling me back a little later and told me they were just working on their own cars at the shop and to just come through real quick. All I needed was a little replacement piece that I plug into some panel, boom wipers fixed. Didn't charge me since it took 10 seconds and was a 50 cent piece. I had only been there a couple times before so I wasn't friends with them or anything, they just wanted to help out the kid who inherited his dad's old car and didn't fully know how it worked. Hopefully anyone reading this doesn't set off-hours quick fixes as an expectation, I just got lucky with the timing and living close by, but it still shows the kind of people they are. And if they're reading this, I'm sorry for parking my car facing the wrong direction on your one way street when my starter broke and I had to push my truck there. Thank you for not chewing me out. Going to miss having a mechanic I can trust when I move back to the west coast.”

“I stopped in to get a price on a 4 post lift, I spoke to a gentleman who had all the information I needed. The staff are Extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my questions. As I was leaving I realized my 32 Ford blew a brake line and the staff tried to get me a rollback truck to tow me home but ultimately we ended up fixing it in the parking lot. The staff would not take no money for helping me out, but if this is the way they treat new customers they absolutely have a customer in me for life. That is old school service at its finest, thank you again for your amazing help and hospitality. From my experience trust Total Tool as a company that puts service 100% ahead of everything.
