Woodbury Common is a huge, popular, and extensive outdoor shopping outlet located in Central Valley, New York, roughly an hour north of New York City. It is one of the largest outlet malls in the nation, welcoming over 13 million visitors a year. The outlet is built for shopaholics and is a popular day trip, with many buses and vehicles operating from NYC and the surrounding area. It features a vast selection of 220 stores, grouped in neighborhood-style layouts. The range includes everything from typical stores like Nike, Adidas, and Old Navy to high-end luxury brands such as Gucci, Prada, Dior, Versace, Valentino, Balenciaga, and Dolce & Gabbana. The main draw is finding premium goods at bargain prices, with constant sales and discounts on name brands.
The experience is grande but not ghetto, with great security allowing for peaceful shopping. The outdoor layout is clever and nice, avoiding crowded indoor tunnels, though it can be freezing in winter or hot in summer. Ample parking is available, including a multi-floor parking garage, though it can get packed and there are both free and paid areas. Visitors should plan properly and wear comfortable shoes, as the outlet is too large to cover in a single day. Dining options are prevalent, with a great food court, Market Hall, quick eateries like Shake Shack, and sit-down restaurants including Applebees, plus bistros and food trucks. While bathrooms are a common complaint, the outlet overall is definitely worth the trip, offering a magnificent and dangerous all-day shopping experience.

Plenty of options and brands, check out for the season end sales. The new upgrades are a plus, now more food options and cleaner restrooms. Though get around in winters could be challenging.
