“The ONLY USPS post office that answered their direct telephone line. I’ve called all the post offices in North Bergen & West New York NJ & got no answer.”
“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I ought to know because I’ve been coming here for 37 years. The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“I visited this location on April 1, 2025, and had an outstanding experience, despite not being from the area. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional customer service provided by a gentleman named Will. He went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and made me feel very welcome. It's rare to encounter such personalized and attentive service. I highly recommend this place, all thanks to the fantastic service from Will!”
“I went to this location on last Saturday to apply for my son passport and supervisor come out and asking me what we came for today nicely and warmly. After that he told us to go to first window. The Asian lady ( sorry I forget the name ) she is very friendly and help us very quickly. Done a few minutes. I am very satisfied with customer service. I give all stars to the post office locate in sunny side. If anyone wants to apply to passport or want to send someone parcel, come to this location . They were very friendly customer service.”
“I had the first time passport application here. showed up little early than the appointment time. No lines. Shayne was the clerk who took care of my application, very professional and with lots of patience. The process was quick, around 15 minutes. There's 15 minutes street parking in front of the post office, and 1 hour parking in the area. I had no problem with finding parking.”
“I had a positive experience today at the Sunnyside. It was quite busy, but the staff handled everything efficiently and kept the line moving. The person at the counter helped me quickly with my mailing (including choosing the right envelope and service), which I really appreciated.
What stood out was how they also took the time to answer quick questions from others not in line while assisting customers — not easy in a crowded setting. Overall, a smooth and positive experience despite the volume of people. Thanks to the team for keeping things moving and being helpful.
Also, places like post offices don’t always get the recognition they deserve. It takes effort from both the staff and the public to keep things running smoothly. If you’ve had a good experience, it’s worth taking a moment to acknowledge it.”
“The guy working at the counter was very friendly and efficient Helping me ship my package. I was in and out in 5 minutes. By far are the best USPS experience i’ve had in the city - well worth taking the train over from bushwick!”
“Today was the first time going to this post office. I usually go to the big one off of Hillside and 164th and it's always a very unpleasant experience. I chose differently today and decided to go to this branch on Austin street. They had enough people behind the counter and my agent was a superstar. He helped me find the best price for shipping my package, helped me choose the right box and he made sure I didn't have to wait in line a second time! This is now my new post office!”
“Yarmel Yarmel is an outstanding USPS employee who works very hard and always helps customers with professionalism, patience, and kindness. She takes her job seriously and makes sure people are properly assisted. Her dedication, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service truly stand out. USPS is fortunate to have someone like her, and she absolutely deserves to be promoted to a higher position”
“I live in Brooklyn and would rather travel to the Middle Village USPS to drop off both my packages and my mail. They are so nice and friendly compared to the 11221 Brooklyn USPS.”
“I am going there for renew my passport and they take only 5 to 7 minute I think in Brooklyn there's a best walking place to doing anything for passport thanks”
“Everyone I’ve interacted with the past few years has been very helpful and just nice to work with at this post office - feel for the workers building needs a reno!”
“Ms. Glover and her staff run the best post office in the city of New York. They truly care about their customers. I had a missing package and the follow-up and efforts to get it delivered to us were above and beyond. Thank you for the excellent service!”
“I think this Post Office in Queens offers the best service. The staff is courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your paper work is in order. I had to go there a few times and I was impressed with their service.. I have sent a few people there and they were also impressed with the services. Great job ladies ???”
“Since I've moved around this area this post office been my go to an the staff one particular very kind an helpful. As a small business owner new at that. She help me understand the difference with shipping labels among other things. If only I remembered her name.”
“I give five start. I like it here better nice employees are nice I always buy her a snack but I do not know her name very helpful. to me and very nice two people. only it my complaint long Line . my opinion this post office very good”
“Quick, efficient, and pleasant experience. The woman helping me (I believe her name is Barbara) was an angel on Earth and helped me to figure out my issue. Single-handedly turned my crappy day into a fantastic one.”
“My sister and I have been to this post office to change the address of the house and that the man behind the window was very nice and friendly helped us out and gave us the correct information.”
“I never had a problem with this location. When I visit I am in and out. Georgia always says hello and she is courteous. She helps me with any questions or concerns I have. ?”
“I had a pretty good experience at this post office. The attendant was nice, and I was able to get in and get out fairly quickly, which doesn't always happen at the post office.”
“I'm fascinated by the amount of negative reviews. This is a post office that is consistently OPEN extended hours because all other nearby branches close earlier. They work hard and efficiently and there's always 2 people working (well at least every time I go).
For your stamp and packaged needs, they're great!”
“Daniel and Albany were super patient and helpful for my moms first time PP application. Very rare to find such customer services these days. Definitely will come back for my any shipping work.”
“After having spent 25 minutes on a seemingly endless Post Office line on Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn last week, this branch was a joyous discovery. Easy parking. One person in front of me, waiting for either of two tellers. Prompt, professional, courteous service. How rare.”
“The gentleman that has been there for years is carrying this post office on his back!! He’s the nicest person I have ever encountered that works at a post office. Usually these people are rude and disgusting for no reason. I forgot his name but he is a light skinned black man. I ship packages at least 10 times a week and I specifically stand and wait for him. He should train these incoming employees so they can see how to treat people. Give him a raise immediately!”
“My friends, staff and I have been to this post office a few times and had a wonderful time this is because every time that all of us went there, there was so no and that it was fast with no one in the line. Also, the post office is located inside this borough hall.”
“I lived in Cliffside for 13 years and I just walked by there one day never knowing the post office was there. If anyone knows the post office on Anderson Ave near pizza corner it is never open and if it is they are so rude. Is there a phone # for this place? Only the 800 #?
Anyway 5 stars!!”
“Super friendly workers, I filled out my mail envelope wrong, and she told me how to do it properly and taped it up for me since the original envelope couldn’t be resealed without tape. This was 30 minutes before closing as well.”
“The absolute best package/print/shipping service facility location in New York. I have been to so many different FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. facilities, and this location is by FAR the best. Wyatt is super —. the most professional, helpful employee!”
“Very little traffic means very little staff, which could be a pain if you're in a rush, but the clerk was thoughtful and patient when I needed help shipping my first international package, and I've never had trouble picking up a missed package.”
