“I often stop here before/after a river trip or while traveling to/from Albany. More options on ready-made food and an available restroom for customers would definitely make this location better.
5 Star staff though! Special kudos to Ashley for her friendly yet professional assistance. ?”

“Only place you can get real NYC bodega food.
Best spot in town for a baconegg&cheese, or any type of deli sandwich!! They also have an extensive crafted menu options that’s are great ??

I noticed recently they carry ethic food ingredients for cooking (spices, breads, grains, etc) that I haven’t found anywhere else in town.”

“Great food and fast Wi-Fi from the parking lot. Ideal for the mobile worker! I got the pulled pork sandwich and thought it was a little pricey, but then I discovered it had coleslaw, pickles, and was worth the $10 for sure!”

“Solid Speedway in Catskill. About 8 pumps and space to move around. Unfortunately there are potholes, lumps in the drive-up and warped road surfaces. Its bumpy. The store is fully stocked with a coffee station, drinks, news, chips, freezer items and beer, soda. The staff is the best in the village. Great all-around Speedway! Review: 4”

“Great prices, excellent, friendly, and helpful staff since it has transitioned from the previous owners. Staff is masked for those like myself who appreciate that! There is handicapped parking and accessibility, a clean, large single user public restroom, gas, lottery, beer, CBD and tobacco products, lighters (and I wnet recently looking for lighter fluid, they were out but said they would be ordering it), snacks, medications, auto supplies, cell phone accessories, periodicals, hot food, coffee, and everything you'd need from a quick - stop type convenience store!I give them five stars as the new ownership and/or management is much better than the previous... the staff much more competent, friendly, pleasant, patient, and helpful!I actually worked here for a second job until I became fully disabled and unable to work, and the previous manager and his girlfriend (who worked there as well and inappropriately made assistant manager over the much more hard working, Maria) were one of the main reasons this Sunoco had gotten a terrible reputation... From selling drugs from their car in the parking log, being drunk and stoned on the job, and not doing inventory management or checking outdated products... They were one of the main reasons the store had a bad reputation, along with the former management NOT paying attention to the needs of the store, such as leaving brand new gas pumps to replace the old ones, in the parking lot for months and months on end.(I'd like to specifically say that Maria, who opened and her son 'D' were excellent, hard working, pleasant and friendly employees... and the only reason the store did not go under [if you see this, I miss you both!]).Let me again reiterate... THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF HAS CHANGED AND THE STORE (besides the layout and façade) IS UNRECOGNIZABLE TO THAT UNDER THE PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT.Prior, there were several stings by ATF, and many employers failed. THAT IS NOT AN ISSUE ANYMORE! So a fair warning, don't be insulted if you're asked for any product requiring proof of age. The staff is doing exactly what they should, especially as the store has prior reputation of neglect and selling to underage employees. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH THE NEW STAFF AND MANAGEMENT. They are 100% competent, friendly, helpful, respectful and doing what they should... Sorry for anyone who was hoping to buy illicit narcotics in the parking lot, but this is now the respectable, clean, and law abiding establishment it should have always been. When I need gas or the odd item late night (until 11pm when they close) this is where I go, as they have excellent prices! Including competitive gas prices. [At the time of writing this, 03/04/2022, Ukraine is under attack by Russia and gas prices have skyrocketed, however, they are still who I rely on for my gas and other items as they have excellent and competitive prices]).DISCLAIMER: the parking lot on the south side of the building had recently had some large potholes from the winter freeze-thaw cycle, and imagine will be addressed as soon as possible by the competent and attentive staff. It is absolutely avoidable if you need to park on that side to go inside, but just be aware in case you have poor night vision.”

“I would like to commend the entire pharmaceutical staff at Walgreens on Fairview Avenue in Hudson. Despite being understaffed, they always serve their customers with patience and professionalism. And they go beyond that. I recently needed a topical cream that my insurance would not cover. It would have cost me $700 for a travel toothpaste size. Without my asking for their assistance, Walgreens staff found a coupon so I paid under $30. This is why I have been a faithful customer for over 20 years.”

“Under new management. This place has best gas price in town and lot more snacks/drinks/beers selection. Excited to see what all they will be adding. Lots of grab and go food items as well. Also they are open 24/7 so if any one wants fresh breakfast sandwiches with real eggs they have them ready by 4:30 am.”

“The staff is wonderful!!! It's always clean, the bathroom is always clean and we are every thankful for that. Also the employees are so tentative to customers. One employee Kaitlyn was really nice one day when my friend was having a bad day, she made my friend smile and feel better at the same time as making coffee, checking out customers and taking to my friend waiting in line. Her manager was there and she keeps a good crew. Thank you stewarts”

“A Mobil Station, a Subway and a laundromat all under one roof; and yes, there's a restroom. Very convenient location across the street from acres of stores including a Walmart Supercenter, some popular big boxes, some independent, and an Applebee's.”

“Typical Valero gas station. But, it is small on the inside. Has NYS lotto but last time I was there they didn't sell scratch tickets. The guy at the register said they were getting them soon.”

“The workers there are very sweet, and are very understanding. I don’t think that I have ever had a bad experience there. And I go almost daily. It’s very quiet, always clean, and I look forward to going all the time.”

“This Gas Station offers a fantastic selection of ice cream flavors that are definitely worth trying. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and their milkshakes are definitely worth the wait. Their Strawberry shakes are a great alternative, but the Butter Pecan flavor is my personal favorite.Overall, I highly recommend Stewart's Shops for anyone looking for delicious ice cream treats and a friendly atmosphere.”

“It's a little further for me to walk but it's worth it. At their snacks are not out of date like the other one on the corner of Columbia St and 3rd st. This is smaller but has what I need.”

“it's nice to know that there's someone always there for me...even when I don't know...
the blood red eyes that follow me during every visit, the looming shadows scattering to smattered glimpses each turn I take...sometimes I visit just to feel the radiant ambience of the overlords, and I feel so found each time. the human workers are cool too, I guess.”

“I'm very, very grateful to the Walgreens Company. In 2013 I was dealing with a chronically ill family member and unemployment. The Walgreens in Burlington NJ was a blessing to me. The Walgreens here in the Catskills has the same caring, welcoming concerned and professional attitude. Thanks to Rich, very patient, kind, comfortable attitude .”

“I think this place redeemed itself since I was here last when I stopped in yesterday. It had new pumps, and despite my fill-up using only the pay-at-the-pump station I think I saw enough now to say that this place is now okay to use. Was confused with the new styling of the pumps. Although I saw the scanner to scan some type of card, when I went to insert my card (like I used to have to do to most Speedway places) it took it. Are the new pumps designed to scan the barcode of the card without inserting the card or what is up with that barcode scanner (what is it used for)? (The last time I was forced to use a brand new updated pump at a Speedway, the pumps pay-at-the-pump was down and couldn't get my GasBuddy card to work correctly(another station at another time), but that astounded me finally.”

“I worked here as my first job and it was a good experience. People were awesome and very chill to work with. I pretty much live in close proximity to it and it's pretty much walking distance, making it very convenient.Bryce@ North East Ford”

“This branch of Stewart's shares the lot with Trustco bank, but there seems to be no problem with overflow parking from one business to the other. The landscaping is pleasant, as there are picnic tables for enjoying a meal al fresco. Inside are some raw ingredients, prepared and processed foodstuffs. Refrigerators keep cool the wide selection of beverages. There are also fresh coffee and hot tea. The employees are very friendly and helpful.”
