“I was having trouble finding red egg dye for our traditional Greek Easter Eggs. The generous person I spoke with was able to mail me a packet. I am grateful and will be visiting this wonderful establishment soon. Thank you!”

“IGA Southold is a convenient and dependable spot for groceries on the North Fork. They offer a good selection of fresh produce, meats, and pantry staples, especially considering its size. The deli is handy for quick lunch items. Prices are fair for the area, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. A solid, essential local market!”

“So much great variety at this north fork gem! Great vegan options and n/a drinks. The curry cashews they carry are delicious! They also carry natural beauty supplies.”

“Small lovely store where we bought potatoes, different kinds of tomatoes to try (I liked yellow the most), and raspberry & mango (!) jam. Prices are higher than in grocery stores but hopefully it’s because of the good quality.”

“We go to the one in Bridgehampton. It is refreshing to know it's there. Who needs Citarella for most staples when King Kullen sells them 1-2 price! Their fruit and summer veggies are on par. King Kullen is my friend.”

“(Please click on photo to see Wild by Nature at night). I have been shopping here almost daily since the day they opened. That's when I stopped visiting their East Setauket store, as this branch is much more convenient. The food is delicious. The store, including bathroom, is very clean. Cheaper conventional, as well as organic items, are available. It's great not having to read labels as much.....I trust them more than other stores for safe food. Everything is Non-GMO, for example, while elsewhere, buyer beware! The staff is terrific, all except one short, rude woman, and the deli offers fabulous dishes! Yes, this place is definitely expensive, but you won't find super-long checkout lines! The wide array of products and healthful foods make it worthwhile for me to shop here. Nutritious food is "preventative medicine".....eat right and stay out of trouble! I'm worth it. You're worth it.”

“I used to stop here all the time when I young. It has since changed hands and the types of food are far different than what I was used to. They have a lot of Spanish type foods and fresh seafood. I stopped in because I wanted a fresh brewed unsweet tea But they didn't have that. They only had it in bottles which is nasty to me so I didn't purchase anything in the store! I will stop here again I just won't be able to get tea.”

“Always clean, well stocked, and well organized—and since winter 2025, much more intuitively arranged!

Checkout lines sometimes get backed up.”

“This small luxury market really packs a punch! It's well stocked with so many desirable and high end foods. This luxury comes at a price so be prepared to spend a little money. You won't walk out empty handed ?”

“Very clean, employees are great. Excellent variety of food. Guaranteed to find what you want and prices are reasonable, considering it's in the 'Hamptons'”

“As someone who shops here for personal and small business needs, I’m very impressed with this location. I can see the staff work hard to keep everything organized and clean as best as possible. As a local I noticed the influx of people when another grocery store closed and this S&S has adapted well and made necessary changes. Glad to see a lot of variety, especially the free-from options. Thank you and keep it up!”

“Great grab and go lunch options (salads, wraps, smoothies, etc.). Some of the grocery items can get expensive, but if you need something specific (vegan, GF, etc.) you’ll likely find a brand you know and love. The vegan broccoli salad was delicious!”

“Handy Pantry in Mattituck is special. Been going there for a sandwich for lunch since high school. They make great sandwiches and is a great stop for grabbing cold cuts and basic groceries. Some items are priced higher than a grocery store, but others are cheaper and everything is great quality. Plenty of beer too.”

“This is such a funny/lovely little grocery. It reminded me of the small town grocery store from the 2007 flop, "The Mist." It also has shockingly good music playing throughout the store. I found myself dancing several times in the aisles only to catch of a glimpse of several other shoppers doing the same. What a riot!”

“Very impressive market, the produce department was the largest of any store I know with more choices of fresh vegetables and fruits that were at prices that beat any Riverhead shops. I found the employees and checkout staff very friendly. I brought home enough dinner with 4 people for $28.00.”

“Here's the thing. My father buys the best steaks you can buy in NYC. Our porterhouse from Wayside this summer was the most exceptional and memorable steak he or any of the rest of us have had in years. Yes it was pricey, but there simply is nothing to say besides that the best doesn't come cheap. I can't speak to the rest if Wayside's offerings, but when it comes to beef, there is no equal. Treat yourself!”
