“Many qipao stores have closed since the pandemic, thank goodness Sylvia's is still around. I came up from DC to find a wedding qipao after a frustrating day of not being allowed to try on garments in Manhattan Chinatown. Despite only making an appointment 2 hours prior, Sylvia allowed me to try on as many as I wanted and was super helpful in helping me decide among options. I found brocade styles that I've never seen at other stores or online. I came back several months later (timed with a work trip) to try on what I had ordered -- it had to be shipped from China. I thought I would have to return for a third trip to pick up my tailoring but no, Sylvia made adjustments while I got lunch in Flushing and I took it home that afternoon! I could not recommend making the trek out here more.”

“This boutique is absolutely adorable! I am so happy my colleague introduced me to it as I've never even noticed it despite going to the UPS and shoe repair stores next door quite often. It does share a parking lot with King Soopers and few other stores as well as food places so plenty of parking! I am far from country and southern styles but this boutique literally has something for everyone! Fabulous and one of a kind jewelry (trust me, I tried to find similar items online with absolutely no luck, which is great). Really great clothing items as well. Some of the brands, such as KUT, can be found at Nordstrom but Wild Blue seems to select the best of the best so it's all ready for you to shop. Prices are very reasonable as well! I've introduced it to some of my friends, and literally all of them are already the repeat customers. I definitely recommend checking it out if you are nearby or it's also worth making a special trip (especially considering the fact that there are tons of amazing places to have lunch/dinner around so you can make a super fun day out of it).”

Also for taking the time to really let me go through every catalog they had, and I made sure I went through them all, to make sure I found what I loved most. I didn't feel rushed or like he was even trying to sell me a suit at all but rather felt like a friend trying to help me decide what would work best for my fashion and budget. Getting fitted was also a breeze. 12/10 will be shopping again at Balani and telling all of my friends and family about the amazing services provided.
