About Payless Car Rental
Payless Car Rental at LaGuardia offers a generally smooth and positive experience for customers. Many reviewers appreciate the efficient service during pickup and drop-off, with some highlighting the convenience of online reservations. The staff is often described as friendly, accommodating, and helpful, especially when resolving issues or providing suitable options based on individual travel needs. Customers have praised the company's willingness to help with crossing into Canada, including providing non-resident insurance cards and clarifying fees. Even during holidays, staff members work hard to ensure customer satisfaction. While there was a mention of a miscommunication regarding credit card policies, the resolution was handled well by a supervisor, turning a potentially negative situation into a positive one. Vehicles are generally in good condition, and replacements are quick if problems arise. Overall, Payless Car Rental at LGA is recommended for its competitive prices, helpful customer service, and easy rental process, making it a reliable choice for travelers visiting New York.

Hands down the best car rental experience! Latoya was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the car selections. She was patient, kind, and had me out the door in under 15 minutes, even after I made the mistake of going to the wrong parking number 😅

Aside from the incorrect directions about the shuttle (there is no Payless shuttle, you have to take the Avis shuttle and go to the Avis counter), which resulted in us waiting forever for a Payless shuttle which didn't exist, the rest of the process was smooth. Easy pickup and drop off of the car, in and out in minutes.
