“I had a passport appointment at the Bronx location today because it was the only appointment available. I traveled all the way there only to find out that the passport employee didn’t come to work, so appointments weren’t being honored. Unfortunately, I never received any notification that my appointment had been canceled.
After that, I came to this post office hoping they might be able to fit me in as a walk-in. Thankfully, they did! The passport agent was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He made what started as a very stressful day into a great experience.
Thank you so much for your kindness and willingness to help. If I lived closer, this would definitely be the only post office I’d go to. 😊”

“As someone who just likes to get everything done at once, I did most of my returns from the holidays on 01/09. Not only was Lionel so kind but he was willing to go over the top to help me even when he was solo and had many people in the store. He gave everyone the same smile, the same kindness and same undivided attention no matter how much or little help they needed!”

“I came here 9/3/24 to apply for my first ever passport. the workers were helpful and attended to me quickly. I paid for regular routine service and received my passport in the mail 9/16/24 (less than 2 weeks non expedited!!) I then received my birth certificate in the mail 9/19/24. this was such an easy and quick process and I appreciate the workers at this post office who helped out!”

With the highly aggressive competition from private firms with huge corporate funds, we appreciate that a taxpayer funded government institution is subject to budget cuts, and often local Post Offices are not given the manpower they require to keep up with the demand on their staff. “Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”

“Great location and service. It's a plus since the wait times are not long at all in this location since it's not as populated. If you're in a hurry to mail something out and you're in the area, I'd suggest checking this location out. They only allow one person inside the actual office at a time because of COVID and since it's on the smaller side.”
“The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the time when I go there, I don't have long lines to wait on. I might see 5 people on the line, but the line moves fast.”
“I’ve only been to the Glen Head post office twice, but both times have been such a joy thanks to Kareena. She is cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderfully talkative attitude that truly brightens my day. She manages to take the “chore” out of running an errand and turns it into a genuinely pleasant experience.
I live several towns over, but from now on, I will make the trip to this specific post office simply because of Kareena. She’s such an asset—not just to the Glen Head post office, but to every customer she interacts with. Highly recommend coming here if you want excellent service with a smile!”

“I don’t know how the rest of the facility is, but my experience was With a wonderful lady named Vanessa if you’re looking to get your passport done ask for Vanessa she’s awesome. She will literally guide you step-by-step. Answer any questions and you have she won’t look at you funny or look at you like you’re stupid. She’ll actually be helpful and kind and compassionate about it I’ve been to a lot of government facilities whether it be the DMV again the USPS traffic court, ect. I always leave saying the worker was always mean or rude or was just not welcoming at all. Vanessa is the opposite”
