“My father is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and uses a walker to help him get around. A screw fell out and it was unstable and unsafe for him to use. I took the walker to the hardware store to see if they would be able to help me replace the screw. I was greeted with a happy hello and asked what I needed help with. A lovely employee named Christina took the walker placed it on the counter and installed the screw for me herself for me. I was so grateful that she was able to help us with this situation. We shop here for all our home improvement needs and recommend this store to anyone who wants a friendly…helpful …attentive staff who goes out of their way to make sure you leave with what was needed”

“The guys behind the counter were very helpful. I was dead tired coming from work right before closing. They likely were also tired because as I said it was right before closing, yet they greeted me, asked me if I needed help, and helped me find what I needed. I used a 20% off coupon that I had in my email. I got a pair of truck ramps for the snow storm today so I can transport my snowblower. All in all very positive experience I never used this harbor freight before but out of every store that I have visited this was by far the best. Whoever is the manager, they did a good job because he or she has a good team.”

“I am truly grateful for the help Nick gave me. I called in at 4:55 closing time is 5 o’clock. Nick was empathetic towards my situation, I had no heat.
He gathered the parts that I needed to correct my problem . He left them outside the store so I could pick them up and not go through the night without any heat. He also offered me his personal cell phone and encouraged me to call him , and he would walk me through the repair.
This was truly a unique experience that will stay with me for a long time. Nobody does business like these people , I will never go to another plumbing supply. I highly recommend Central Islip Plumbing Supply !!”

“I just bought a mini fridge for my new martial arts studio that just opened this month and Christian who was in the fridge department did more than just help me. He offered to help me bring it around the strip by Old Navy which is on the entirely other side of the plaza and bring it in as well. He did the extra mile when it comes to customer service and I will definitely be coming back to him for all of my Home Depot needs!”

“Chris is great!!! Here is the story. I contacted him from one of his signs to do my driveway. He was responsive and we set up a time to do the job. Price was very reasonable. I had just returned from a 2 week vacation and forgot we had the job scheduled, Chris did not forget. He was prompt, friendly and did a great job. 10 minutes after he left the skies opened up and completely wiped away the sealcoat. It was on the Belgium block and parts of the house. He came right back, power washed and cleaned it and then came back 2 days later after the rain stopped and did the job, again. It's not every day you find someone that is fair and honorable. I am recommending Chris to everyone if you want the job done professionally by a true gentleman. Thanks Chris.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Costello's Ace Hardware of Northport that I wanted to share.
I purchased an item for online pickup which unfortunately had to be cancelled because of a mistake on the Ace Hardware Corporate site mistakenly showing the item in stock. However, the Saturday night crew (I sadly didn't get their names) did everything they could to help me by checking local warehouses, and calling their manager to see if I could purchase the display model. Initially it was a no, but the gentleman willingly and eagerly called his manager AGAIN for me and to my surprise the manager agreed.
Only because they went above and beyond for me by calling again allowed me to purchase a Christmas decoration that is very sentimental to my childhood. I will truly have a special holiday season this year because of the wonderful employees at Costello's Ace Hardware of Northport.”
