“Food were pretty good in the food court. But I came when they are almost time to close. The staffs used their actions ,not words, to rush us. I tried to finished my food asap but the food was really hot, so I still told a while to finish my food. That was the only thing that bothered me.”

Parking can be hard...but not impossible.
Workers are ok...clients can be impatient at times...but most are fine.

Other supermarkets in the area should take note and consider upgrading their appearance and conditions to elevate the overall standards in the neighborhood.”
“Fresh meat market! You just need to have patience while getting served, they are really busy but the customer service is great and the prices are very affordable. I loved seeing that they had meat bundles at good prices.

With the LIDL, Wendy's , Taco Bell and Burger King adjacent, I recommend entering from eastbound Merrick Road and exiting via eastbound Merrick Road. The turn onto or off of westbound Merrick Road can be harrowing.”

“One of the best-run businesses in the NY area. Really wonderful food and shopping experience. Not cheap, but you get value for money. For example, their beef is priced above the supermarket, but well below the level of the really good gourmet butchers - but the quality is as just as good as the best in the area. “One of the best locations ! They have everything in one store including already made food that's self serve. The food is also really good. Top food items: mac & cheese, chicken tenders, meat loaf, grilled lemon pepper chicken, mashed potatoes, diy salad bar. Im pretty sure the options are good but I have not tried them as of yet. This store has a lot of good items and it's always stocked unless there's a manufacturing issue with a product. Store is kept clean and organized. Staff is also really nice and friendly.”

“Italian feel to a deli with quality food. The deli counter has so much food option. You feel fat just by looking. Large selections of soups. Some fish, beef pork and chicken selections with a fruit and veggy options of meals. The cookies and chips are many. The extra is that the market part is pretty good with parking some of the time. It gets busy.”

“Great assortment of meats and cheese. They also have a dry aged steak selection that's cut to your specifications, however, the butcher leaves at 5pm. I asked the deli department and they said that I could call it in and have the steaks cut and waiting for me before closing.”

“The Village Convenience Deli is the best little grocery store in the area. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. During the LOCKDOWN I only thought to go to the 7-11 north of my apartment building. I totally forgot about THIS deli also about 3 blocks away. I could kick myself. This store has many varied and brand-named items not like 7-11. 7-11 has the worse bread and English muffins not brand names like Arnold or Pepperidge Farm or Thomas. Village Deli also has many things I needed during the lockdown like spices , vanilla, chicken broth that I had to do without. Their prices are also much better than 7-11 akin to grocery store prices. It is also next to a pizza place and a Mexican take out and dine -in place that looks very promising so now I can stop and get a snack too.”
