“Love the deli for the homemade salads. Will continue to go there, just sad about what happened today when I went. It was 7:00 pm, I asked for a falafel sandwich. The worker said the grill closes at 7:00. I said, oh that is ok, can I just have a hummus sandwich then? He said No! Only submarines. So I said, can you just make a hummus sub? He said no!!! Sigh, so I guess I could have gotten a turkey sub (but I don't eat meat), but literally a hummus sub was not allowed lol. I don't understand.”

“Great selection of high-end unusual grocery items in a boutique market setting. We had a few minutes to spare between kid drop offs and pickups so we moseyed around taking photos of some of the more interesting items. Not a place I would necessarily shop on a regular basis due to the upscale pricing, but a great alternative for those with discriminating tastes. The bakery has some wonderful items, and the ready prepared case has some fantastic salad and bulgur bowls. Off street parking, super friendly staff and a beautiful store with cool items. It's worth your time to take a stroll through the store.”

“I am so glad I checked out this location after watching the abysmal crash and burn of the Union/Genesee location. At first I assumed it was just the company going downhill but it seems like it is just that location.I hadn't been to this Save A Lot in years and it seems to have had a facelift since that last visit. Aisles are a bit more manageable and as for selection the stores carries your basics as well as some alternatives and limited specialty items. Like anywhere you have to know your prices though overall they tend to be less than or equal to other stores.”

“The store was clean and well organized. I do not shop here but needed raspberries and bananas. The berries looked good and reasonably priced, the bananas were not. Everything here is off or no name brand so you're not paying for the name. I don't care for the impersonal atmosphere of the store. The cashier was nice. People trashing the under paid, overworked employees have never worked with the public entitlement of customers and the bosses/little caesars that populate places like this. Try compassion.”

“Seems there's lots of complaining about food prices these days. I'm a senior and have always practiced smart shopping. It's how I shopped raising my family and now. I didn't skimp then, and I don't now. Aldi's is one of my go-to stores for specific items which I'm not sharing. They always have what I need and want. The items I buy there have gone up a few pennies, but not enough for me to complain about. I've experienced and lived thru inflation in the past.”

“The Aldi's store's have some really good stuff, the one thing is don't expect very friendly customer service, at least not the kind I give any customers that I talked with or helped! Believe me, I know because I have done many different kinds of Customer Service jobs as a second income job and full time! If you go there, get some of those really good things and then do what I do, go to my favorite place that also has really good stuff and great stuff all with awesome Customer Service! When you go to Aldi's make sure you get to the meat and frozen sections!”

“Let me start by saying this is not a grocery store, but an experience. My husband and I were visiting from the West (Las Vegas) and we would have to go to 4 or 5 stores to get the selection and quality you have in one store. The hot bar was amazing. The pizza, sandwiches, and pre-made selection made me wish we didn't have dinner plans. The bakery was something of my dreams. The self-serve cookies; especially the almond, are not to be missed. The freshly made Pretzels are good enough to sell on a food truck. The produce, meat, and seafood all looked fresh and all we could do was walk around wide-eyed. We bought snacks for our hotel room, but wished we had more time there to try more. It was refreshing to see actual cashiers working and not an entire store of self-checkout. We also appreciated everyone giving us the time of day and having a good attitude. Being able to walk in, get what you need without having to wait hours for every single item to be unlocked because crime/theft is so bad was blissful and reminiscent of a different time period. We really appreciated the shopping experience and have told all of our friends back home how nice it was. ?”

“The store was very busy today. You had to be mindful of your cart. Someone actually took our cart by mistake and we searched the store looking for it until customer service announced that someone brought up a cart that wasn't theirs. The woman was very apologizing and embarrassed. Wegmans is a friendly store.”

“Their bakery is great for ordering sheet cakes. Do it all online or go into the store and someone in the catering section will walk you through the process. We ordered the largest size with marble cake, half with vanilla pudding filling, half with chocolate pudding filling, and a whipped cream frosting. So delicious, and I'm not even a cake lover. We enjoyed the light, less sweet flavor of the frosting and the cake itself was very moist. Just remember to keep the cake refrigerated because the whipped cream will melt. Also, the cake decorators can't steer too far away from the standard writing and frosting roses, but they were so kind to help us find something that was simple and fit our needs. They ended up writing the names in a rainbow format. So sweet and the girls loved it. We will continue to use Wegmans for sheet cakes because of the great taste and decent price.”

“This store has kind and helpful staff. I came in for chapstick and ended up spending $25 on necessary but unneeded items. The cashier was helpful, when I asked where the chapstick was. (It was the only item I was missing.) I didn't know they had self checkouts at Dollar General. All-in-all, it was a great experience.”

“The save o lot that I love to go to is in Alden NY. I aslo love the one at the Airport Plaza in Cheektowaga NY. Both have excellent qualities and the friendliest staff.Everyone is always helpful. This one along with the other one mentioned have a real Butcher here and he is also very nice and helpful. Ive never had any meats that are badThe quality of meats are excellent. Just as if you went to a butcher or maybe Tops or Wegmans. This Save o Lot will in fact save you a lot. With the prices of food on the rise these stores manage to still keep things affordable. Thank you for that. I highly recommend these 2 Save O Lot stores for your wallet.Yes you have savings, but no your not skimping on quality. Try for yourself. You will see what I mean on your own.”
