“Great selection of high-end unusual grocery items in a boutique market setting. We had a few minutes to spare between kid drop offs and pickups so we moseyed around taking photos of some of the more interesting items. Not a place I would necessarily shop on a regular basis due to the upscale pricing, but a great alternative for those with discriminating tastes. The bakery has some wonderful items, and the ready prepared case has some fantastic salad and bulgur bowls. Off street parking, super friendly staff and a beautiful store with cool items. It's worth your time to take a stroll through the store.”

“I am so glad I checked out this location after watching the abysmal crash and burn of the Union/Genesee location. At first I assumed it was just the company going downhill but it seems like it is just that location.I hadn't been to this Save A Lot in years and it seems to have had a facelift since that last visit. Aisles are a bit more manageable and as for selection the stores carries your basics as well as some alternatives and limited specialty items. Like anywhere you have to know your prices though overall they tend to be less than or equal to other stores.”

“For two decades, we got all of our meds through this store, and when my husband retired, he changed it to another branch, just for the sake of convenience, as he wasn't driving past the Alden store on his way home from work any longer. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about them, and when we recently had an issue that our present pharmacy could not help with, they came through with grace, kindness, efficiency and timeliness. We cannot recommend them enough!”

“I'm always the person that likes to check out other locations in different areas; for Dollar General...ive tend to find that newer locations under a year; are kept cleaner and more stocked as always. This location; is key im sure for people that live in the Holland/ South Wales area. I happened to almost drive right past it, its only 9 months old, and was fairly well stock despite supply and demand. If you find yourself out that way; driving home and need something quick, stop in. Staff is friendly and store still has lingering new smell and feel. Fairly newer, staff was friendly”

“I drove out of my way to work there when they needed cashier help. The staff was very nice and the manager was glad I was there to help out. Although I've never been at that store before, I did my best to help customers find items and I met a lot of nice customers there who appreciated me. If they ever needed cashier help again, I would definitely drive out there again. It was a 45-minute drive, but the kind staff makes it worth it. I also love the toy pigs they have on the registers for customers to squeeze when we have to do restocking in between cashiering!”

“The Aldi's store's have some really good stuff, the one thing is don't expect very friendly customer service, at least not the kind I give any customers that I talked with or helped! Believe me, I know because I have done many different kinds of Customer Service jobs as a second income job and full time! If you go there, get some of those really good things and then do what I do, go to my favorite place that also has really good stuff and great stuff all with awesome Customer Service! When you go to Aldi's make sure you get to the meat and frozen sections!”

“The store was clean and well organized. I do not shop here but needed raspberries and bananas. The berries looked good and reasonably priced, the bananas were not. Everything here is off or no name brand so you're not paying for the name. I don't care for the impersonal atmosphere of the store. The cashier was nice. People trashing the under paid, overworked employees have never worked with the public entitlement of customers and the bosses/little caesars that populate places like this. Try compassion.”

“The save o lot that I love to go to is in Alden NY. I aslo love the one at the Airport Plaza in Cheektowaga NY. Both have excellent qualities and the friendliest staff.Everyone is always helpful. This one along with the other one mentioned have a real Butcher here and he is also very nice and helpful. Ive never had any meats that are badThe quality of meats are excellent. Just as if you went to a butcher or maybe Tops or Wegmans. This Save o Lot will in fact save you a lot. With the prices of food on the rise these stores manage to still keep things affordable. Thank you for that. I highly recommend these 2 Save O Lot stores for your wallet.Yes you have savings, but no your not skimping on quality. Try for yourself. You will see what I mean on your own.”

The driver Kevin is great he is always communicating clearly about arrival times and about what's in stock and what's on back order. He arrives friendly and happy everytime. He is unbelievably knowledgeable about the products and processes. Made it easy to use different cards to pay. Kevin is an all-star and I would hire him for any customer service business.”

“I had a very pleasant experience shopping at this tops. usually I go to the one on Broadway but decided to switch it up tonight. I was having a hard time finding a couple items for a couple recipes that I found the other day I was getting pretty bummed because I didn't think they had what I needed. then I asked a young gentleman I believe his name was Riley if he could help me and he stopped what he was doing just to help me find what I was looking for I was so excited when he found it think I might have to keep going to this one! the store is so clean and organized and the staff seemed ready to help with whatever I needed.”

“We were at a basketball tournament for our daughter nearby, and this was the closest convenient store to grab some drinks and snacks between games. This store is definitely a throw-back to my 80s youth, including a candy aisle with 25-cent boxes of Lemonheads, Red Hots, Boston Baked Beans, and more. It was early, so coffee was a must. The hot coffee here is drip-coffee prepared one pot at a time. My cup from the full pot that was sitting there was just okay, but for $1.25 for a large, can't complain. We purchased my coffee, three cold drinks, and a variety of seven or eight snacks (chips, cookies, nuts, a Cliff Bar, etc.) for about $23. Not too bad in this day and age. The cashier who checked us out was very friendly. Checking out, she hand-typed in each item into an throw-back cash register, with the chunky keys that make that satisfying chunky-key-plunk-sound. And then when I paid with my card, the old-school credit card machine came complete with that old-school dial-up screechy sound to process the payment. For a place to grab reasonably priced convenient store drinks and snacks, this Convenient Food Mart was a good, and nostalgic experience for me! :-)”
