“Galo the store manager is excellent. I felt very comfortable and confident about doing business here. They are super professional and kind. I been to the Mt. Vernon location twice now. Aneuryr is the employee who assisted me on my last visit. I couldn't be more greatful for him on my most recent pawn. They are very fair and considerate with pricing. They go above and beyond customer service. If you have any questions, you should call. They're patient and knowledgeable over the phone and in person. Really can't say enough wonderful things about GPB and my experience. My only advice, is to bring some quarters for street parking, which there is plenty of. Gem Pawn Brokers is the best in the business in my opinion. Give them a try. You won't regret it.”

“Fantastic place! I got my rook pierced by Anthony. I have nothing but good things to say about the actual piercing itself. It was quick and relatively painless and he seemed very educated about healing piercings in general. I really couldn’t believe how little pain I felt.
One tip before you go here - DONT buy the “cleansing set” or whatever, just walk down 50 ft. to target and get a saline wound care spray. That will save you a bunch of money.
The piercing itself was a 5 star experience, but I rated this place 4 stars simply because I think it’s overpriced. Before tip, the rook and jewlery was 100 dollars. I chose this place for convenience but the going rate in this area for just the piercing is usually 40-50 dollars, not 60. And a single simple titanium curved barbell being 40 is pretty expensive.
Overall, I had a great experience but their prices are a bit above mall piercing rates.”
