“Did I cross an invisible border, or is New York just Canadian territory now?
I pulled off the highway expecting a standard pit stop, but I’m pretty sure I stepped through a portal directly into Ontario.
First, the station was suspiciously clean and well-maintained—always a great start. But then I went to prepay for fuel. $45 USD to fill up a *small* car?! Absolute nostalgia overload. Nothing makes you feel quite as home-cooked as paying eye-watering, wallet-draining prices at the pump. Huge thanks to current geopolitical tensions for really nailing that authentically exorbitant Canadian gas station experience.
Just when I thought the immersion couldn't get any deeper, I smelled the Tim Hortons. Seeing an actual Timmies counter hit me with a sudden wave of patriotic warmth. I looked around the 7-Eleven, and what do I see? Shelves stocked with glorious Canadian beer—stacks of Labatt Blue practically singing to me.
And to top off this cultural masterclass? Nickelback was blaring over the station speakers. Absolute Canadian royalty.
Overpriced gas, a fresh Timmies coffee in hand, cold Canadian brew on the shelves, and Chad Kroeger serenading my soul—I didn't know if I was at a highway Sunoco or back in Toronto. 10/10 for hospitality, you beautiful home away from home.”
“I appreciate the fact of knowing this place always has the best prices in town for fuel. Place by my house today said 3.02 per gallon and I just kept going til I saw that 2.95 I like much better here. Fuel up here weekly now.”

What a gem! Tucked inside an unassuming gas station is the most flavorful homemade Indian cuisine in Watertown. Hygienic and quick service.
This convenience store is a family business. I love seeing that. It is always wonderful to make purchases from their son. He’s more polite, professional, and courteous than many adult business owners in this town. Probably one day he’ll be the mayor.
The mango lassis are the perfect treat after a long day. Gyro wraps are satisfying and perfectly seasoned. Butter chicken is a quick, hearty dinner that cannot be beat. Their golden rice reheats so fluffy the next day for lunches. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Also their pizzas are decent and value-priced.”
“Probably the lowest prices in Watertown , I go in to buy my monsters because they are always on sale , soda is always 2 for $4.50 rather than other places being two for $5.50 . The ladies running the store are very nice people who will go out of their way to tell you their experience with the products if you ask.
The owner is probably the coolest Hindi I have ever met in my life , very honest and willing to help the people in the neighborhood. This is more like a family store, the owners and employees know everyone who walks in and greets them by name . I love this store because they treat their customers it's like old friends. I was in there yesterday and bought a $2 lotto ticket with my last $2 and I won , I love this store even more now .”

I went in the store got some energy drinks, chips, ice cream, candy, some lottery tickets, and some beer for later, which they have a really good selection of.I'd recommend the store, it's a neat little local store, locally owned, friendly service.”

“I got into a car accident near this shop and was 3 hours away from home. Being so far away from anyone I knew and not knowing how I was going to get home, I was worried and anxious. Jen, one of the employees, was so kind and comforted me as I was freaking out and assured that I could stay at the shop until someone was able to get me. When she finished her shift, she made sure other staff were looking out for me as well. Thank you Jen & Stewart’s shop staff for being SO kind.”

“My husband and I travel to & from ADK and Philly Fuels is the midpoint. Today was our second stop. We fill up gas, use restroom, order a sub to split, grab some snacks and a coffee. Everything is clean. Even the customers are friendly! I like the fresh sub for a quick and simple meal to keep is on the road. I get mine loaded with veggies, and they are always accomodating. For campers, there is easy acccess and plenty of room in parking lot. This will be our new stop when coming this way.
PS- on the way home, we called ahead for order. menu in on line. The sub was fantastic! All of the staff we have encountered so far have been so pleasant. I was able to buy a healthier snack of yogurt. This is our new travel stop destination.”
“Cash price for gas is usually lower than any other station. I wish they would put paper in for receipts. I alway need one and its a pain to have to go in to get receipts.”

“I went in there the other day and a woman named Paris was working. I had the BEST experience ever. First she upselled and gave me her honest opinion on one of my fav products! I am very weird about trying new things and I tried something new and actually liked it! Also I was standing at the register and I accidentally knocked another customers item off of the register area and onto the floor. I was so EMBARRASSED. Paris made me feel better and with her kind words made me not embarrassed anymore. She is an absolute sweetheart and deserves a raise ASAP. Thanks for being awesome ?”

“Its quick n easy! I shop here everyday and never can I remember having a complaint.no restrooms unfortunately. They have all the latest smoking devices for tobacco and cigars plus coffee n milk. And of course beer and four lokos are always cold and they have about every flavor.”
“I’ve been going to this location to ship FedEx packages for a few weeks. Today I brought a 12”x8”x10” box in. When I brought it in, the woman at the photo/drop off location was extremely rude. She asked what was in the package, and I said an electric wax warmer (plug in; no battery). She said they don’t ship electronics. I looked it up on the website and the policy says nothing about that. She said “it’s not on the website”. Then she said my package is too big (less than 5lbs). Called customer service and they affirmed this is not a policy and my package is within regulation. Filed a complaint because I felt she just didn’t want to take my package and was extremely rude. I just dropped off at Dollar General with absolutely no issues.
What is the purpose of having a FedEx drop off if I can’t drop off an extremely basic package? No other employee has ever been rude or refused me for any shipments before.
