“Wow, I'm really glad I listened to the reviews. I was trying to find a decent shop to do my state inspections and this place blew me away. I live in Queens and some of the shops near me won't do an inspection because I have tinted windows, even though I have a legitimate NYS tint exemption sticker pasted on one of the windows. Dealership will do it but they upsold me hard last year so I vowed to never make that mistake again. This year, I brought my car here for the state inspection and a tire rotation. I met some guy at the front named Bobby and he was unusually friendly for NY standards. Was not expecting the good customer service that I did but can see why this place is so highly rated. In about an hour and 20 minutes, I was out of there with a passed inspection and everything. No up-selling albeit my car is pretty new but the dealer upsold me HARD last year which left a bad taste in my mouth. The tire rotation here was only $25, the Acura dealer was trying to charge me $60. Overall the best experience I've had in a mechanic shop in NY so far. That said, they seem to be busy even in the mornings. I booked an appointment for my inspection a week in advance but if I had just showed up with no appointment, I don't think they could have fit me into their schedule. If you wanna get work done here, it's probably best to call ahead and make an appointment. I plan to move out of NY in a few years but until that day comes, Check Point will keep getting my business for all my car-related needs.”

“Definitely the best service I have used. I towed my car from Hicksville to Flushing. The price is reasonable, transparent - you know what you are going to pay upfront. The driver is super nice and professional. Use them! You will not regret.”

“Marie and Bruce were extremely helpful in providing me all the necessary information to navigate my car being stolen and deemed a total loss. Without them fighting for me I definitely would have been lost and potentially without a car”

“John is an original "good guy". He will never steer you wrong. If it needs fixing, he'll tell you. If it can wait, he'll tell you that too. Super honest guy.”

“If you need any work done on your car, this is the place to go. It’s the definition of a true mom and pop auto shop. They’re super kind and welcoming, and staffed by some of the most down to earth people you’ll meet. The entire process was quick, easy, and completely hassle free, and my side-view mirror looks as good as new. At a great and reasonable price, too. Genuine businesses like this are hard to find these days, especially in the automotive industry. You can tell they truly care about their customers, and the story of their business is really touching.”

“Thank you for coming out via a AAA call today at the Hilton in Melville. We appreciated your prompt courteous service. We forgot the nice young man’s name but he was communicative and he was so quick getting the spare on. We thank you for taking such good care of us.”
