“You know that I'm usually a proponent of big-box chain stores because I think they're hooked into a better supply chain and can get things faster and (usually) cheaper. But I've been burned badly of late at Best Buy, and Dyckman Electronics Center has me reconsidering my position. It's a solid #MerlinFIIIIVEEEEEE (elongate the vowels, elevate the pitch) and then some. My jam: I needed to replace a dishwasher and oven right away. (Don't ask: sometimes, somebody just needs a dishwasher and an oven, you know?) Called this place up and got reasonable quotes right away. The stuff was at my place in a couple hours. A lot of indie shops price gouge shamelessly. This place is the opposite. I'd definitely recommend talking to Angela if you're in a jam similar to mine. She'll take care of you and help you out if things go South (which they did for me -- I initially got a 30 inch oven by mistake for a 24 inch slot, and she told me to relax and fixed it!)”

I had traveled here from the North West Bronx to pick up a Motorola Razr, so like a world away. Anyways, after my two hour trek I thought I had lost my ID so I wouldn't be able to pick it up. Fortunately I was able to find my ID and the manager was able to work with me on it. Great staff.”
