“Trader Joe’s in Commack is one of the better locations on Long Island. It’s clean, well-organized, and not as crowded as other Trader Joe’s stores—even on weekends. My favorite items are the fresh-squeezed tangerine and orange juices—they’re super refreshing and taste homemade. While I don’t love everything they sell, they have some great staples like the Everything but the Bagel seasoning, frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken, and dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Friendly staff and a smooth shopping experience every time.”
“The best butcher shop I have ever been to. Their products are pricey, but the quality is out of this world. I stop by as much as I can and I am never disappointed. If your looking an old-world butcher experience, definitely stop by.”

“My favorite grocery on Long Island. Spiro and his staff could not be more accommodating and helpful. The prepared items from the special dips and guac to the meat dept are wonderful. I love that there are baggers to help with groceries!”
“I Don't go there often. Today I picked up a few things for my wife. For me I got a great Roast Beef Hero on home made bread. For dinner I bought 2 1/2 racks of beef ribs. They were meaty and moist, as hood as any Resaurant. I will be back.”

“We are big fans. Used to drive to them in Huntington when we lived in Dix Hills. Now we live in Huntington and they moved to Northport. So we still have to travel but it’s worth it.”
“The shelves are usually stocked, the isles are usually clean and although prices are continually rising, it appears they are doing their part to keep good value. I was a long time Stop and Shop customer, still am, but I do the bulk of my heavy shopping at ShopRite, particularly ShopRite of Huntington.”

“Been a customer since Jan 2011. I asked anthony b why the display case in front of ice cream area was empty. anthony b replied, display case was broken. For the f -- in record. I do not work at shoprite, so I had no clue. NEED TO HAVE A SIGN. INDICATING WHEN A HUGE DISPLAY IS NOT FUNCTIONING. anthony b stated to give him a list of items that I need from the display case. So he can go in back of store to retrieve items. I hope upper management addresses accordingly.”

“Most products are fresh & affordable. However had a bad experience recently where I saw a box of mold strawberries still displayed. I bought 6 boxes of strawberries, the one box I already spotted did not come home with me. However, after I opened the box to start to prep it, that’s when I noticed the mold hiding. I had to take another trip back to the store to return it.”

“WONDERFUL"butchers". Do not need to buy Big boxes of items. Meaning, you can buy smaller quantities that will last . The butchers are artists who cut/slice your purchase as requested. The Deli guy is fabulous. He knows his art. Helped me make the best! Philly cheese steak ever!! Clean!! No slippery floors. Fresh fruit & vegetables. Always.Helpful staff. Courteous. The managers are super. Do not forget the cashier staff. They are beyond great and genuinely niceNorthport is my store”

“Never too crowded, easy self checkout/ scan as you go. Cashiers/ employees seem relatively cheerful and helpful. A lot of deals and savings w the app- prices still a little higher than some other nearby stores such as Target but I appreciate the wide variety, selection and fairly constant availability of products”
