βGreat old school hardware store with knowledgeable and helpful employees. Been going there for years.Went there today, in the snow storm, to see if they had a pull string starter for my snowblower. After standing around there for about 15 minutes and wondering what's taking so long, the lady comes out with the part fixed! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting to buy the part, install it and fix it myself. All we had to do was go back home and screw it on and Bam it worked. You don't get that kind of service in the big box stores. And they really do have anything you'll ever need there.β
βRain dew is a great local store that remind you of the old-time Woolworths. They seem to have a little bit of everything you can get candy, hardware, yarn, toys.. they have it all. Prices are great for a small local store. They even have a pharmacy. Itβs great to shop local and support business in the area.β
βthese guys remade a specialty hose for me for a pressurized alcohol marine stove and they did it in 10 minutes and it the price was less than expected and ballparked. So grateful for their service, thanks!β

βWe went here looking for a set of three bypass doors and track hardware and were extremely pleased with the level of service and the selection of products they have. From the young woman at the entrance desk to the service desk staff, everybody was helpful to us. Billy A. is a terrific asset for the inside sales team. βWent in to get to get a toilet but hubby hadn't used is card for over a year so it was expired. Self check out only but Susan was so helpful she walked us through step-by-step through the sign in online process. She was very patient for my hubby had a older model phone. I have an iPhone 13. Should have done it with my iPhone to start with. Lol. Karla was also near by but Even though she was making sure and helping other customers with try check out she also was very pleasant. Will def go back again and again and again. Customer service was an A+.β

βWhat a wonderful place. I called to see if they carried brown mulch, spoke to Mark and said they had plenty..I needed 18 bags. When I finally got there, Mark was so very polite and courteous and took care of me right away. Drove to the back of the store, and this young woman, Katelyn was all set to load the car . All 18 bags..I felt so bad that a young woman had to do this..Let me tell you what an amazing, awsome young woman she is..She picked up each bag, put it in the car, made sure there was room for all of them. She worked so fast and was so sweet about it..not a complaint out of her. Katelyn is a true asset to Ace and I truly hope she is acknowledged for being such an amazing employee there..Very satisfied customer here..Thank you Katelyn and Markβ

He brought the giant garbage can I bought out to my car in the freezing cold today and stayed out there for 10 minutes while trying to get it to fit in my car. I would have been completely stuck without him! Thanks, dude! You deserve the accolades!***It's now April of 2024 and I find myself leaving another rave review for this Ace Hardware. This time it's because I bought something online that the house REALLY needed, but couldn't leave my house because my mother is bed ridden, not well, and for over a week I couldn't find someone appropriate to safely watch her so I could go pick it up. When Ace called me because they wanted to remind me that I had a product waiting, I explained my situation and asked if they could please just hold it a little longer. The next day, my doorbell rang and an Ace employee had their hand outreached to me with the product and a smile. I was and am floored. This is the old timey kind of customer service from my youth and not usually seen anymore. Thank you to whichever employees were involved in that whole resolution. :)β

βFinally a person who tells you what you need to know. I had been looking everywhere for a 4 ft LED that is shatter resistant and compatible with my ballast. This is the first person who told me there are plastic sleeves that can go over the bulb to prevent shattering. Wish someone had told me this sooner!β

βI was visiting the area and discovered my internet, and google maps feature did not work on my phone when I got to New York from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I was on the phone to my cell phone provider tech support for 2 hours between three calls, and they couldnt figure it out. I drove around in circles for hours, from JFK airport and ended up at this shop looking for a map to buy. The owner got his son and he figured out how to download a map and use it off line. It got me to where I need to go. I wll never fotget how the little discount store in the Bronx help me out and would not accept anything in return. This tells me they are very very good people here. βWent for bird food (on sale) , some hose repair items and Round-up, everything was where I could find it, never have any problems locating things, and if I need help, everyone is happy to steer me in the right direction. Love wandering the aisles though, always find something new of interesting. Love this place!β
βThis review was written by my brother Orlando... Frank Plumbing Supply is for DIYers and industy pros. After some advance research, I told them I wanted a 3/4-inch stop valve that would be sweated on a copper line. I spoke to one friendly person over the phone and was helped by a different person over the phone. When I walked in, they could tell I wasnt an industry pro and MULTIPLE people started proactively offering helpful advice. They explained gate valve vs ball valve with demo. When I stated that I did not have space for the long handles on a ball valve, one shared that some plumbers cut and shape the handles themselves. One man-- who has worked there for maybe 10+ years--brought out a T-handle ball valve, which has a short handle!!! They had all these options for my 3/4" copper pipe, more options than both Lowes and Home Depot... at lower prices. I didn't have to beg for help either. THANK YOU!!! Yes, I recommend them. Btw... they are open on Sunday!!!β
