“Aldi has cut my grocery bills in half. This has honestly changed my shopping experience and saved my budget. Quality of meats and produce are higher than tops (not even a close competition!), the store is clean, staff is friendly, and selection is quite good. My new go-to grocery store.
Aldi makes shopping at Tops or Wegmans feel like I’m throwing money away.”

“Excellent store with a wide variety, especially for vegetarians and vegans.
You can also buy spices, and many other things in small bags according to weight.
The prices are a bit expensive and we had a hard time finding some things at reasonable prices and in small quantities like bread crumbs.
The fruits and vegetables could also be better, although some of the products are from local farming so we expected great products but some were rotten inside. (eggplant, mango).”

“This place is great. Slightly more expensive than the likes of 7-11 and Walmart, but I think it's worth it knowing that you're supporting a local worker cooperative. I've been a member for a few months, and it's very nice. You get discounts sent to your email all the time, and bulk items are discounted heavily every week. Plus, you get a portion of the profit back every year as a member.”

“The workers are friendly. Aisles are always clean and organized. It's a must to check out the clearance. I've bought some of the cleaning supplies before too and they work just the same as something double the price.”

“Note: Yelp doesn't do .5 star increments. The only reason I'd give Wegmans 4.5 stars is because of prices, but if you're smart with what you buy you won't break your budget. Before I discovered Asia Cuisine's nigiri, I'd go to Wegmans to fulfill my sushi cravings when I'm in Ithaca. Anything Wegmans brand almost always tastes immaculate. There's a reason why so many stores study Wegmans as their inspo for their own store layout.”
“It has changed owners recently and the store is cleaned up and organized and for a small grocery store it basically has all what you are looking for. Also local products. But could you guys sell the David Sunflower Seeds again? Tyvm. Also the plain Ithaca yogurt.”
“July 2024 this Tops pharmacy is sooo fast at filling prescriptions.
I’ve been using Ithaca downtown Wegman’s Pharmacy for a year, and they’re great helpful staff there, but it can also take days for refills, and at least 1-3 hours if you call directly. I’ve received texts from them that my meds are ready, and when I arrive that same day I still have to wait 15-30 min. for them to finish.
Versus this month now 4 times I’ve left a doctor appointment in downtown Ithaca and called the Tops from the parking lot to see when my med would be ready, and they announce each time it’s already done.
Tops staff isn’t as smiley/friendly as Wegman’s in person at the counter, but they are fast.”
“Newly built store and it is quite spacious, well stocked, clean and friendly staff. The aisles dont seem as cramped as regular DG stores. Store has a nice layout to it”
“Coffee, yes, espresso drinks, tea, pastries, sure. But also all the supplies and gear you need to make your own coffee, including their own roasts. Also lots of gourmet shop items like cheese and charcuterie. Not to mention a tavern in back with a broad tap list, wines by the glass, and beer and cider to go.”
“Always a lot of good merchandise at reasonable prices. Very good prices on propane and gasoline for cars. Tire and repair shop has great offers on tires , rotation and exchanging winter summer tires if you buy them there. Nice vegetables and meat in the grocery department. Great prices on laptops also.”
“This BJs is actually one of the nicer ones. It has a bakery, meat counter, and a deli in it. There are things here that aren't at all other BJs. The staff are always kind and pleasant. I have never had a bad experience here.”

“This Dollar General is great to have in town. They have a nice selection of essentials and it turns out that at least once a week we find a need to stop in. The staff are always polite. I wish they would get a produce selection; maybe one day!”
