“There is a fantastic employee at this particular 7-11 (my favorite one on LI and the one right next to my house), and his name is Jimmy! Jimmy is the best gas attendant I’ve ever encountered and I actively look forward to seeing him. I bypass many many other gas stations because our interactions are so lovely and has made me feel loyal to the store! First of all , he is full of store pride and dresses up and down in all 7-11 swag, tastefully!
Although he has to buy all of the swag himself. Do better, 7-11! The man looks great and has pride for his job and community I’m sure adding to his wardrobe won’t be too much of a burden for you! ?
The shirt, hoodie, hat always matching and on point. It’s so great to see someone embracing their position and he always looks great he has also influenced me to buy some 7-11 swag myself!!! Haha he is always on time for work, I was waiting to get gas because I left my cards at home and there he was promptly at 6am.
He’s reliable, funny and I feel safe around him as a young woman driving alone (which isn’t always the case). He remembers your name, and turns an otherwise lame/dull experience into a jovial conversation.
People like this deserve a RAISE. Or to be head of the department. Yanno, I’m sure not many people think there’s much involved with being a gas attendant, but there is. His engagement and pleasantness causes you to feel at home and respected. Anyone in retail, teaching, etc will tell you how important it is to create a welcoming, open, respectful rapport with people. Better rapport = more sales. Period. I truly hope someone notices this and rewards Jimmy for being such an excellent employee. He has no clue I’m writing this too haha! Thanks!”
“I came to this store the other day while visiting my daughter and I had the most pleasant experience. I just lost my husband so sometimes even just the sight of his favorite candy can take me out of myself, a kind gentleman named Connor must have noticed I was a bit lost as he came over to help me. I’ve never been more impressed by an employee in my life, he was so helpful and made me laugh when I needed it most. I look forward to returning the next time I visit Northport”

I called around 10 PM to check if the air pump was working, and they kindly went out of their way to confirm it for me. I literally got out of bed, drove over, and was able to inflate my tires with no issues. Ended the night by filling my BMW with premium gas. Excellent service and reliability.”

“I love the sales associates, they are so kind. When something happens that is out of their control they are so apologetic and sweet. No matter the issue they always find a way to make sure you leave happy. I’ve seen so many people inside the store treat them badly over something they can’t control. If pumps break, or if machine breaks no matter what.. they will always do the best they can to make you feel good. The people is what I love at this speedway. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The girls that work there are sooo sweet! They love every one of their customers. They have this thing about them.. when you walk in, they seem so happy to see us. They have so many discounts! It seems like there are discounts for everything at this store. The coffee is hot! They have so many 1$ deals for all kinds of snacks. Good vibes at that store.”

“I went to CVS pharmacy to pick up my prescription on Saturday morning. The lines were abnormally long because some non-pharmacy customers were using the pickup windows as their checkout. This was annoying and selfish behavior, delaying regular pharmacy customers.
I hope CVS management could implement a policy to have pharmacy pickup windows serve pharmacy customers only.”
