“Great to find an experienced glass pro nearby. Dave expertly created three glass tabletops for me (two rectangles and a circle). He’s pleasant and efficient — five stars!”
“Celtic provides a great service and the staff is very responsive. With todays tough competition and so many variables- my company is grateful to have Celtic to be able to lean on and rely on for delivering excellent service and prices.

“Berger Hardware, an Ace location, is everything you don’t get at those Big Box stores. Great help every time I go in, which is usually for something small and hard to describe let alone find.”
“Looking for great deals on tools? This is the place. Particularly, good for hand tools and stuff were precision is not required. As Harbor Freight goes this is a new, clean and well run location.
Update: this looks like a successful location. Well stocked, clean and the staff seems to actually know where things are located.”
“I just want to share how fantastic it is to have a local hardware store like this. I parked in front, put in for my free fifteen minute parking, and went inside looking for a part to fix my toilet. In literally one minute and thirty seconds (I had the meter timer running), someon helped me find the right part after I picked up the wrong one, I paid (less than I would have if I went through Amazon), and was out the door, back in my car, and on my way home. 10/10 experience. Will come here over Home Depot / Lowes / Amazon as often as I can.”

“Andrew was most helpful with a problem I had with my 3 DeWalt batteries and chargers, none of which worked, and I didn't know why. He explained that the models had been discontinued, and went to show me an adapter to purchase for my old drill. But then, he disappeared in to the back and came out with an unusable (for him) charger and battery that worked with my drill. He was so kind to let me have them! This is what makes Hometown Hardware and all the employees there so special as opposed to the big box stores! Thank you Andrew!”

“A great hardware store! They look you in the eye and offer to help, the moment you walk in. For a small town hardware store, it’s quite large and they have a great selection. I will be back!”
“Preston was informative and very helpful. He made my shopping experience easier by helping me put together things I needed for my project. I would shop here again.”
“Great customer service! I called ahead to tell them what I needed in my own words I told them and they guided me throughout the whole process, I needed some lumber and didn’t know the measure of the lumber at all, one of gentleman at front took his time to show me the lumber I needed to make sure if that’s the lumber I needed for my project! They have a bunch of tools there and if you need any help, they are open help you! Highly recommended! Will be coming back for my next project!”
“Super helpful & responsive staff! Sent them an email about what I need and they called me back! Thank you! Highly highly recommend!
Oh, and the pricing - better than the “big guys”!”

“I always have a great experience buying from Nyack Lumber. Very friendly staff. They will cut the plywood down to the dimensions you need. They even said with the remaining strip that I could bring it back to get cut down again if needed for no charge.
They also delivered a whole deck Job worth of materials to Ossining for me which was so convenient!! They said they deliver to Westchester all the time.
I try to avoid the big box stores and this is a great alternative!”
“Friendly staff. Called and ask for a part that they didnt happen to have Nd they recommended me to check a store close by! Awesome help they didnt have to do. When i do need supplies i will check here first!”
“Came here in January-ish to get a shovel for the snow storm. Wasn't able to get the better ones but the guy showed me the detachable one that has a steel ice pick attachment. Even though the shoveling peice was plastic, the steel ice breaker made up for it”
“Great experience! I was greeted the moment I walked in. I needed a part (that I could not find in the other 3 stores I went to) and a super helpful and kind guy helped me right away. He answered all my (somewhat ignorant) questions with patience and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend this place!”
“I had a really good experience at this hardware store. I stopped in looking for a specific part for my faucet, and Oliver helped me out. Even though they didn’t end up having the exact piece I needed, he was patient, took the time to check options, and was genuinely willing to help.
The store itself is well organized and easy to navigate, which made it simple to pick up a few other household items I needed while I was there.
I’d definitely come back the next time I need something for the house.”
“The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood my options without feeling pressured. Their professionalism and customer service exceeded my expectations. I left the store very happy and confident with my purchase. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great service and a positive shopping experience.

“I stopped by Wallauer’s in New Rochelle yesterday and had such a great experience. Dilan and Josh were amazing, they really went out of their way to help me and made everything super easy. Both of them are so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The store itself is always stocked with everything I need, which makes shopping here a pleasure. Congrats to the whole team for the great service, I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“This is the only hardware store in the neighborhood with a decent paint selection that sells sample sizes for small projects for $6.99 each. Friendly, helpful and patient staff!”
“Great sale on miracle grow soil. Friendly and helpful service. Appreciate the honesty and trustworthy feel of a small town hardware store, i hope they never close their doors!”
“Well stocked and priced hardware store. Owner on premises and available for questions. You can no longer find this attentive service at the larger shopping mall stores.”

“Herb Lack Paints is a Nyack family owned business. Joseph along with his wife and son are a fixture in the Village Nyack business district.. Don't be fooled by the Paints they have have a lot more than paints. They have a great supply of Benjamin Moore paint, and do custom blending as well. They also repair screens there, and any copy of a key they have made for us always works. Their inventory includes everything from Gorilla glue to snow shovels. The family is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend a visit.”
“Craftmaster Hardware, is where it's at! I'm a Maintenace Techniacian and a good portion of my job requires locksmithing. I exclusively shop here for all my locksmith needs. Why would I exclusively shop at one place? The answer is quite simple. They have unbeatable prices, fast shipping, and phenomenal customer service! The company I work for has an account with them, so the prices are ridiculously cheap; there's is absolutely no comparison. Their prices are usually 20-25% cheaper than the regular retail price. They're really good about shipping. Anytime I purchase an in stock item, they'll ship it out the same day and I will usually receive it the next day. Their customer service is top notch, I usually deal with a sales rep by the name Don; Don's the best! If I have any question about something I'm not familiar with or what kind of lock would be good with a certain application, he's pretty good at making a suggestion. A couple times I needed some out of stock items expedited and he was able to get them to me fairly quick. There's also been instances when I needed a something same day and I was able to pick it up directly from them. If you're a locksmith or a technician I highly recommend you check this place out!”

“A store where you ask an employee and they are actually knowledgeable and know what they are talking about . Still have the old school mom and pop vibe type service you never get anymore”
