“Good service and friendly staff. We rented two vehicles for a mission trip to WV with our church. One of them had a mechanical problem and needed to be replaced, causing some of our team to lose a day’s work helping to repair homes in the area. When we told Brendan at the West Islip branch about it, he spoke with his manager about it, and they adjusted the price accordingly. Will definitely rent with them again.”
“This review is long overdue and more than deserved by Adam. I bought a 2004 Chevy Avalanche from Chrono in 2021. I have to say that it was the best experience I have had buying a vehicle. I bought it sight unseen and had it delivered. Adam was amazing to work with and delivered on all fronts. The vehicle had a wealth of service paperwork and all neatly organized. Adam took videos and pictures galore so I could see what I was getting. If I needed more, he would have provided that too I'm sure. He was extremely communicative and helpful up and beyond the delivery of the vehicle. He provided a warranty well beyond what others provide, especially in my state. I love the truck and Chrono! “I have rented from this location several times, both electric and gas vehicles. All those times I have done prepay because of the good deal and low cost basic insurance. The economy vehicles are much better quality than the ones from Enterprise which is closer to my house. I was introduced to EV s and I loved them! Avis has great Equinox options at the Bay shore location.
Only negative is that pick up and drop off is not available and is a long walk. Other than that I've had positive experiences each time.”

“Needed a car to replace my existing Hertz rental that was a “hit & run”. All anyone told me was…there are no cars, there are no cars! Peter, the district manager answered the Deer Park phone when I called. He listened and assured he could find a replacement. He did, called it in, put my name and contract #on the key for Monday morning. On Monday I picked up with Matt, who was also terrific. Thank you to these guys who really helped me out!! I would def recommend them! Thank you”
“It's always hectic at the airport and the rental car line is where you are tested. But Budget changed all that. Most of the work is done online before you get there. Fast, convenient and great customer service. Yes there was a line but it moved so fast, I couldn't complain. Knowledgeable staff make all the difference and that smile was icing on the cake. Love the cars, No surprises, that never happens.

“Its greatly improved in service and inventory. People don’t realize that this is a small mom and pop shop. This isn’t a major airport. Also people are assuming that car should be readily available all the time when in reality there is a limited supply. I never have had a problem in the last five years of renting from them either picking up or dropping off. I rent for work and, I keep coming here because of the fact that this is the only car rental place that I can drop off my personal car in the parking lot and know that it will be safe.”
