2 N Main St, HomerHad tickets to the Center for the Arts for a concert! Our inn keeper recommended this place, which is right down the street from the music hall! Cocktails were delish! We had the calamari for an appetizer! I'm a tough critic on calamari, if it is not cooked right it can taste bland and rubbery! NOT THE CASE HERE! Tender and delicious! I had the seafood scampi; scallops buttery and melted in your mouth! My husband got the steak sandwich which was so good he wished he'd just order the steak!
Waitress friendly and efficient! We definitely recommend!

The Glen Haven
7434 Fair Haven Rd, HomerMy bf and I stopped in at the Glen Haven a couple weekends ago just on a whim as we were passing by while out riding around on the side by side. We did why not do in and have a drink real quick so we did! We sat at the bar and I overheard Angie the bartender say they had cheesecake so of course I had to have some ?
and it was delicious!! The atmosphere, the staff and the patrons there seem very friendly and we enjoyed our quick little visit there! Would go there again and would recommend to friends and family as a nice place for lunch or dinner and or even somewhere to go to have a few cocktails!!
It doesn't hurt that it's basically on Skaneateles Lake, which happens to be my favorite Fingerlakes lake!!
Years ago a bunch of us actually rented a house a couple houses up from the Glen Haven, from the Hudsons, we did that two summers in a row, and we really loved it, we had so much fun!
The Hudsons are a very nice family...very friendly,
very hospitable and welcoming!!!!
