“Added: I would not bring rabbits anywhere else in Rochester. Dr. Scarpulla and staff helped care for my bunnies and guinea pig after they were affected by an electrical fire. I was out of town and they squeezed my pets in immediately and checked them out and bathed them because they were completely covered in smoke. My family brought they in and were planning on covering the costs for me and instead they did not charge us at all and it was $400 in services from checking their lungs, etc. THEN the front desk staff created a fundraiser for us and a bunch of families donated. I’m glad to be part of the Southtowne community.
I moved my rabbits here from another vet I wasn’t happy with- Very happy with staff and services from the front desk staff to the techs and vets here. I put the wrong time in my calendar and they even accommodated me which was amazing because I had to take the morning off work. I asked about rabbit vaccine and they said they had a list I could get on but ordered them almost immediately and called me when they were in. Edit: when my rabbit passed the care they gave helped me get through it. My other rabbits and guinea pig still get great care here including vaccines, nail trims, teeth check, prescribing antibiotics immediately whenever risk if infection, and shaving my rabbit that I adopted matted.”

“I’ve been taking my cats to Perinton Veterinary Hospital for over 10 years now. The vets, the vet techs and other support staff are consistently kind, caring and very competent! I never have an issue with getting an appointment within an appropriate amount of time (for sick visits too), or getting any questions answered over the phone by support staff regarding any issue or concern. This clinic is also very prompt in getting you into a room for your appointment once you check-in for an appointment (minimal wait room time). This is especially helpful if you have anxious animals! The clinic itself is very clean and well-maintained. The turnaround time between your appointment and getting any follow up results (always a phone call from the vet themselves) about bloodwork, other tests, etc. is often quick. You can tell that they truly care. Nothing but great things to say about this practice! Thank you for caring for my animals and the difficult work that you do.”

“Dr. Christian is the best. He is honest, love what he does and I trust him taking care of my dog 300%. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He did a teeth cleaning and extracted one tooth for my dog. He was very honest with upfront cost and with the overall treatment. No hidden fees like the big vets have. 👍👍”
“I just want to say how amazing this vet’s office was with my dog Daisy. They truly went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and that all of her needs were addressed. I could tell that everyone there genuinely cared about her and wanted to make sure she was comfortable.
They were also so kind to my daughter when she hurt her toe while we were there. They brought her an ice pack without hesitation, and that little act of kindness really meant a lot to me.
It’s not often you come across people who are so caring and compassionate, not only toward the animals but toward the families too. I’m so grateful for the way they treated Daisy and for how welcoming and caring everyone was.

“The convenience of not having to go to traditional vet is both affordable and appreciated. They handled my little girl with care and compassion! My only complaint is that they were much kinder to my dog than to me. The intake person was very professional. However, the vet and her tech were very judgmental and spoke at me, not to me. I know my dog’s nails need to be trimmed, but getting her vaccinated was much more important to me at the moment!”
