“I called ahead to ask if the notary was present. I then drove here during my lunch break to get paperwork required for my job notarized. I brought identification and money to pay a fee if required. The notary wasn't busy and never even looked at my documents, but proceeded to tell me that she couldn't notarize my paperwork because I didn't have an account with this bank. I had never heard of this "policy" before, notaries are supposed to be public servants. It was only later I did research and discovered that it's illegal in NY for a notary working in a bank to refuse someone because they don't have an account (New York Notary License Law section 195). I thought it would take 10 minutes, I then lost the next 2 hours going to 6 other banks/storefronts in search of a notary.I'm giving this place 5 stars because the employees were very nice. But I'm posting this negative review because the company hasn't responded to my complaints. I have a feeling New York Community Bank enforces a policy that's illegal because they don't want to pay people for performing their civic duty for "non customers." As such, I will never open an account here.”

“This was my first time at this Bank of America. Average sized bank, with only two ATM machines. However, the crowd was not as much as I've seen in other locations. The wait time was not bad. I may consider this location for future banking needs!”

“I went through a horrendous FRAUD nightmare on my account . It’s horrible the Fraud department corporate department treated me like I was a criminal, they had no desire to investigate, they told me to go into the branch if I wanted to speak to someone to further assist me.I made and appointment & Upon reaching the branch I spoke with Jazmin & she explained the protocol. I got the run around from the fraud department (corporate) & they refused to release my money. She worked relentlessly and stayed after her work hours to assure my situation was resolved. It’s not often you run across someone genuinely caring for your situation . All the staff at the branch was extremely helpful & worked together to ensure I was able to close my account and receive the money that was rightfully owed to me. I would for sure recommend them.”
